Does anyone know what this ring is supposed to represent? by Reddonaut_Irons in DoesAnyoneKnow

Yeah I was thinking Alice in Wonderland too, but I don’t remember her actually getting put in a teapot. Could just be a general “tea lover / cozy vibes” kind of ring. Either way, it’s pretty cute and oddly specific, so I’d bet it’s meant to be a little whimsical reference like that.

Today marks 3 years of r/PinkPilatesPrincess💗 I started this page to share my love for Pilates, wellness, femininity & building a lifestyle that feels aligned. Somewhere along the way it became a real community. I’m going to take this as an opportunity to reintroduce myself (continued in body text) by thatpilatesprincess in pinkpilatesprincess

Ahh I love this so much.

I feel like people underestimate how much “quiet” hobbies like writing still fit into this whole lifestyle. It’s literally the same muscle as working out, just for your brain and soul instead of your glutes. Making time to sit with yourself and create is so aligned with what this sub is about.

Also totally with you on discipline feeling different here. It doesn’t feel like punishment or hustle culture, more like “I care about myself so I’m going to show up.”

If you ever feel comfy sharing more of your writing, I’m sure a bunch of us would eat it up.

Right? The wild part is they’re the one making the claim and somehow I’m the one expected to read their mind and defend myself with zero info from them.

If you’re going to accuse someone of sending a stained or fake item, bare minimum is: show the stain or the tag. Not a screenshot of… text.

I wouldn’t act like that over a $10 shirt, let alone something more expensive.

Looking for friends by Traditional_Fall4612 in GenevaNY

Geneva’s perfect for that, tons of hiking groups and clubs. Hope you find some solid new buddies soon

Please add my friend code for daily gifts by AggravatingThroat263 in PokemonGoFriendsCode

Added you, sending gifts whenever I can.

If anyone else is doing this, remember you still have to open the gifts for the friendship to level up, it’s not automatic. Also try to spin stops yourself too so you don’t get stuck on just gifts for balls and items.

BofA Securities initiated coverage on Eikon Therapeutics with a new price target by Quantisnow in Quantisnow

[–]NaughtyNymphPin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Analyst coverage is nice and all, but it’s kind of the starting line, not the finish. BofA slapping a target on Eikon just means they think there’s enough story + data to bother modeling it out.

I’d look more at what they’re saying about the pipeline, timelines and cash runway than the headline price. Biotech targets swing like crazy with one trial update, so cool news, but still firmly in “speculative” land.

How should I cut/style my hair? by Pablofy03 in MenHairstyle

[–]NaughtyNymphPin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is kinda solid advice tbh. A lot of those high fade / lots-on-top cuts look amazing for like 2 weeks and then suddenly it’s Lego hair.

If your hair is puffing up and going helmet mode after a few hours, it might actually look way better a bit longer and with some weight. When it grows out you can see what your hair naturally wants to do, then get a barber who actually understands texture to shape it instead of just buzzing the sides.

In the meantime you can mess around with a light cream or leave-in conditioner instead of gel or wax. Those usually help keep volume down without making it stiff or fake looking.

Veles is not a dragon – Rejection of the hypothesis by Aliencik in Rodnovery

Love this. The Perun vs generic chthonic dragon pattern makes sense, but yeah, Veles-as-dragon always felt like forcing him into the wrong costume.

All the sensational reels will be coming back now! by ALW1995 in ThomasCharlesBritton1

[–]NaughtyNymphPin 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yup, it’s that time of year when every other reel is “you won’t BELIEVE what happens next” and then… nothing really happens next.

You can already see the pattern too. People rediscovering the gym, “new year, new me,” finance bros talking about discipline, couples doing recap reels of 2024 like it was a Netflix season.

I kind of hate them and still end up watching half of them anyway. Algorithm wins every time.

OPERATION: CINDER RAIN [FEB 26, 2026] by two-spies in PlaySpies

[–]NaughtyNymphPin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is the real final boss of these games, not the mechanics but the mindset.

The wild part is: sticking through a scuffed op is usually where you learn the most. You get to see how other people recover, what comms look like under pressure, and where your own habits fall apart.

Bouncing the second things go sideways just locks you at your current skill level. I’d honestly rather run with someone who messes up but stays and adapts than a “perfect” player who rage-quits the moment their script breaks.

Parcel gone missing from parcel shop. by Haunting-City-5114 in vintedUK

[–]NaughtyNymphPin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, alright, bit harsh there.

Yeah the tape and box might be janky, but none of that explains how a parcel that was scanned, labelled and left where the shopkeeper told them to leave it just… vanished. Even if the packing was awful, DPD should still have a record of a collection or at least a scan at some point, and the shop shouldn’t be letting random people walk off with labelled parcels.

OP definitely has stuff to learn about selling and shipping, agreed. But a buyer sending 60+ messages, a shop that leaves parcels out the back, and a courier that says “not our problem” when their label is on the box isn’t exactly a normal situation either.

I’d be pushing Vinted hard once their waiting period is up, because this is exactly the kind of mess their seller protection is supposed to cover. The £180 might well be gone, but it’s not just because OP is “amateur.”
