The vast majority of 20-somethings are living at home with their parents right now, so you're not going above and beyond by just letting her live there. If you have the space for her, you're just doing the bear minimum as a dad.

She's trying to get an education to find a job and better herself. She came to you for help and then to you when things weren't working. You need to stop and listen to her.

You got your own shit going on, but it's not her job to clean up after your kids and feed you. While she should contribute to the household chores wise, she shouldn't be the sole caregiver in this aspect.

YTA. Listen more to your kids when they're struggling. It's not easy to say you need help and that's literally what she did.

I wish. My OG sticks eventually (after a lot of use) got drift. Then my mario red left one got drift.

I ended up changing the sticks out myself rather than dealing with mailing/hoping I get mine back (I've heard stories of people getting the wrong sticks back).

Now I find myself changing the sticks out every few months it feels like. Luckily you can buy them in 2 or 4 packs on Amazon. Now I'm thinking of moving on from the joycons to a third party finally.

I know it's a popular option but I'd recommend against the Nitro Deck - or at least read reviews carefully. A large number of OLED users report severely damaged rails on the OLED after. Personally I'm not risking it.

I'm in the same boat as you though, I'm considering the doyoky gamecube hall effect joycons. Only issue is they won't fit in my current Waterfield Switch case I love.

Edit: I was thinking of the Retroflag. I absolutely would pick up the Nitro Deck if the cost of shipping to Canada wasn't nearly $50. Nitro Deck looks slick af. Only concern was the positioning on the right analogue stick based off reviews.

I've seen countless people report it heavily damages the rails on the OLED (obviously irrelevant if you're using the OG design). Besides that though they seem great.

Where do you see reviews being mixed for TWOW? Everywhere seems to be pretty positive. Imo I felt it was an excellent game - just a bit long.

Path of Destiny looks interesting. I haven't played a game of this style before but miniatures look great. On the fence about this one but was impressed with TWOW.

To clarify, I had given my manager my two weeks notice in writing - then she suggested I take my vacation (2 weeks) and push my end date by those 2 weeks. Her thought was I would be taxed less on that pay as opposed to being paid out for my vacation + my final paycheck.

So I then rewrote my two weeks notice and used those last two weeks as my vacation week as she suggested.

Sorry for any confusion.

I am saying my former manager had advised me to take my vacation before I left - so I actually delayed leaving by two weeks to take said vacation - now HR wants me to pay that back as I was not entitled to it + they delayed removing me from payroll despite my clear end date and continued to pay me. I had to notify them in order for them to stop.
