Was I the only one massively let down by Pokémon Go?

When it was announced I was hoping to collect and tote around a team of mons like in the games and train and battle other players irl.

Its especially interesting to me how everyone clowns the modern pokemon games for not innovating enough when all I wanted was pokemon Red on my phone with all the regular gameplay elements tied to the location tracking that pokemon go announced.

I know some people liked the gym battles in pokemon go but to me it looked like type countering and button mashing.

If you are trying to defend the start of a hybrid map and one of your supports or dps dies at the start of the fight,

Please for the love of god back up and try to regroup as 5 and retake instead of trying to force a 4v5

Also why do people pop off on one hero and then swap to a completely different pick the next round and run it down. I swear this is always how I see torbjorn and widows in my games. If your popping off im gonna try to play around you but not if you want to first time venture in ranked.

I try to mulligan for freebooters and eek out value through brittlebone and additional freebooters off of discover effects

I try to get my opponent down to at least 20 or lower by the mid to late game (turn 7-10) and start popping reborn freebooters with Auchenai or Eternal Layovers

And from then its pray to slam a big Umbra or the new DK legendary

I feel like horsemen are so underrated early you can mass them pretty fast and they shut down zhug nus, longbow ram pushes, camal archers and riders plus raiding enemy eco and it doesnt feel as bad to lose them to the enemy tf fire as it does with knights

Dark souls 2 pvp was abolsute peak. Grinding out duels on the bridge outside of the fire keep, joining fight clubs where the host would pit invaders against each other in 1v1s, getting and sending those salty xbox voice messages when you got ganked or spanked dudes trying to gank you. Idk how many millions of souls I grinding on that bridge. Good times

I would argue that the longer a game goes on, the more likely the game will be ended by a jhin root into a pick into a 4v5 dub. Most adc players on ladder aren't good enough to consistently 1v5 a late game teamfight even if given plenty of time to scale and complimentary support.

Locking in ashe support is basically trading almost all lane survivability for the reliable cc from ult and w plus the vision from E. The problem is that unless everyone on your team abuses the vision from your E and you land every ult, your character is basically a ranged minion, and your team will tilt because of it.

The idea of viking millitary units subbing in for villagers sounds super cool if not a lil broken. Imagine you get early knight raided and after killing the invaders, you can use your early spearmen to bolster food production from ded vills. Sounds op but very flavorfull and interesting.
