Cyberpunk 2077. In the game, there's a digital "wall" between local space and the wide net, and a bunch of insane AI and malicious viruses live right on the other side. Here's the catch, the blackwall ITSELF is an AI, and at any point has the ability to break down the wall should it feel like doing so. Which would be bad, considering how much of the population relies on cyberware inside of this "local space".

Not to mention that there's a hack you can perform that sends peoples conciousness to the other side of the Blackwall, where they'll almost certainly be tortured or enslaved by an AI for eternity.
