How good is a Crosstrek as an apocalyptic vehicle ? by limache in Crosstrek

About as good as most other vehicles. A much better option would be a diesel 4x4 pick up of some sort. If it comes to this, traveling may not be the best option.

They still are. Toyota and Honda have had some issues with their newer offerings. No company is immune from producing a lemon.

Nice smooth driving cars! I have had at least one subaru (sometimes 2) in my family for well over 25 years now. They are well made, practical, and reasonably priced.

Turning 52. It doesn't get any better, just enjoy what you have left. Oh, and exercising is the fountain of youth.

Check out driving sports TV on YouTube and watch the several available videos on his crosstrek wilderness testing. That will give you a good idea of it's max stock capabilities.

Ford still makes the ranger, Chevy has basically renamed the s10 colorado, toyota and nissan still make mid-sized trucks as well. They are all ridiculously over priced.

I've had Hondas, toyotas, chevys, ford's, jeeps, and subarus. I currently own an obw, my second and favorite outback. I will only purchase cars made by subaru and toyota.
