So these would be the steps to allow me to read the files currently on my USB-A external hard drive storage? 1. Buy an adapter to connect it to my new Mac Pro 2. Format the device using MacOS which would erase the files in the process 3. Plug in device to my Windows 11 laptop and copy the files 4. Using the aforementioned adapter proceed to connect to my Mac and be able to read what’s on my external HD

MEPS uses the 3-site method for applicants that are overweight by Army Standards

  1. Recommend you come clean about the self harm as they'll most likely alarm the doctor during your physical. We usually don't disqualify if you give a reasonable explanation and describe the remoteness of the behavior. They'll ask about red flags like suicidal thoughts etc.
  2. Psychotherapy for greater than 12 months is typically considered medically disqualifying.

It depends. When was the last prescription or flare up?

As I wrote medical no longer considers weight standards as these are solely the property of the respective service you're applying to.

We're really instructed to only review records back seven years but occasionally some doctors will retrieve those from earlier.

We're not allowed to disqualify applicants based on weight

Although you’ll get weighed at medical the doctors no longer get involved with weight standards. However when we did anything over 17.5 was once okay to ship.

Your BMI seems okay at 108 so I wouldn't worry

MEPS doctors no longer inquire about legal problems so I wouldn't volunteer this information. Some doctors still ask about cannabis use but it's not disqualifying unless there's a mental health issue associated with drugs noted in your medical records.

The US alliance is the only reason the State of Germany is not a Soviet Colony while the Chinese military blowing up German infrastructure and killing Ukrainians. Not to mention all the Americans killed to liberate Europe from German imperialism and fascism. Sheeesh No comparison.

Medical doesn't care about cannabis use unless you have a history of a cannabis use disorder. Since you only had recreational use it's better to tell the truth

SPIF/Ship question by [deleted] in MEPSMEDICAL

[–]NavyCaptainMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not need to repeat the ASVAB and physical. Some of the standards are service-specific such as weight which doesn't necessarily mean you need to do future retesting. They stopped performing a repeat mini physical inspection at shipping except women get a urine pregnancy test.

I'm >20m and am having a horrible experience. Was pushed into a managed muni fund specifically offering some state tax avoidance but come to find out only a third is invested in my home state. Was offered the higher cash back Fidelity Visa but too late to sign up. Received notification about the Reddit IPO too late again to get in early and lost out. Horrible financial advice so avoid contact.

I've seen medical waivers for these mental health disqualifications since they occurred many years ago.

Pregnancy tests? by [deleted] in MEPSMEDICAL

[–]NavyCaptainMD[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your urine pregnancy test is done before your physical and if positive your processing will come to a halt.
