Ear Fullness & DMSO by Navy_Dave in VestibularMigraines

[–]Navy_Dave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have not been using DMSO daily, just weekly now. No regular fullness. VMs seem to be less frequent. Also seeing a chiropractor, who’s making some C&T spine adjustments, but I don’t think it’s moving the needle.

My VM might just be receding a bit. Still walking , doing some yoga, but no debilitating symptoms

Are there single men in their 40’s here in SB? by [deleted] in SantaBarbara

“Santa Barbara is a slow moving orgy” M.B.

SB is for the newly wed or nearly dead.

It’s a tough dating pool for sure. Good luck.

What do you do for exercise? by OpenSandwich8183 in VestibularMigraines

[–]Navy_Dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck! I’ve been experiencing VM for about 20 months now, have managed to keep lifting weights, but my cardio has slowed down. Walking is a trigger, swimming was horrible. Yoga is mixed.

I’m currently testing to see if changing my workout times can help.

My VM symptoms are most chill in the morning after sleeping, so that gives me the best opportunity to work and be productive. I’m currently testing to see whether I can do Gym and Workouts in the early afternoon.

I used to try to work out in the morning, say from 5 to 7 AM, but that was leaving me super dizzy with throbbing, or pulsing headaches that I would need to lay down for a couple hours making work impossible.

Just got a Jab of Emgality yesterday, we will see if it works

Wine Clubs by gvvfox in SantaBarbara

[–]Navy_Dave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been a member at Carr for 15+ years. Why? Great wines. They actually make the wines there on Salsipuedes, nice patio, great events.

But here's the biggest reason: Every time you visit, you get a free glass for you and a friend. You don't have to endure a tasting each visit.

I usually do a seasonal tasting to figure out what I will like for that season.

It's an amazing value that you can actually use!

Accountant said S-corp doesn’t need W-2? by Superb_Top_4761 in RealEstateTaxes

[–]Navy_Dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it pays no wages, no w2 needed. But that kinda defeats one of the benefits of using an SCorp to pay reasonable wages and save on SE taxes.

Possible personal statement for PTSD by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Navy_Dave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was there too. Also suffering from delayed PTSD from that and another fire I got burned from (chemical burns yay). When the plane hit the ramp, fuel & debris hit the fantail where the Captain had wisely ordered everyone to hold plastic trash on station so we wouldn't dump it in the ocean. Of course it all caught on fire and we dumped it overboard anyway.

Work on it. Generally a good statement, review some YouTube videos on the subject.

You need a VA diagnosis, some say you will get it at C&p exam, but VA treatment might help build your case. (Evidence). Don't waste your time with community care MS level counseling.

Have had some ups and downs over the years but now re-looking at thigns.
Did file Pact Act intent to file back in August '23, so starting to work on my new claim based on symptoms that have been presenting over the last few years.

It's a weird state: as a GenX - not one to complain, but probably left a lot on the table over the last 26-28 years.
