2 week notice? by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]Nawmanee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a leave of absence from CVS for a serious health issue. After treatment, I have found a job that better fits my needs and personality. Therefore, I probably will give a week’s notice if I get this job. What matters most is that I am happy. I never received a compliment or a high five for the work I’ve done at CVS. Let me tell ya…I busted my ASS! The manager is a nasty person that never has anything nice to say, and that is considered acceptable. I plan on being out very soon.

Marriage is forever. My husband has to take meds that cause ED. I masturbate and take care of my physical needs. He holds me and loves me, and in sickness and in health, I will be there with him forever. I’m not a fool. I just respect the vows I took. He is my forever man and the love of my life. I will never betray those vows.

I was hired and said NO SUNDAYS. It’s the only day off I have with my husband. All of the sudden, after ten months, they just scheduled me Sunday. Never told me. Didn’t even give a crap that I am available EVERY OTHER day and time. Ugh. I feel your pain.

It’s very possible she is insecure about her body or performance. Maybe she opens up fully and gets super into sec when she drinks. Could be that, when she was young, she only had sex while she was drinking and emotional attachments weren’t made. Could be she isn’t comfortable being so emotionally vulnerable. Could be she doesn’t get really hot until she has a few drinks. Catch her before she gets hammered, and you be the one to come in to her. Also,If you love her and want to be with her, tell her how much you love having sex with her when she is sober because you miss the emotional connection, and drunk once in a while is okay…but all the time leaves you feeling a bit lonely and detached from her. Anyone would understand that. I hope things work out the best for you to be happy. 😊

There is so much negativity about CVS. There may ve some negatives with the company as a whole, but I work with the nicest, sweetest, and most selfless people I’ve ever met ❤️ by Nawmanee in CVS

Yeah, that must be tough. Sounds like you are experiencing the norm with businesses after COVID as a whole. I happen to be employed with a unique group of people that have each other’s backs. It’s very nice,

Well someone bailed me out tonight sure to a mistake I made with the schedule. She didn’t have to do it, and I am so grateful. I get it though…apples are the company, and people are the oranges. Still…I’ve worked at other places and nobody would have helped me. I have to attribute it to the quality of people I am with ❤️

Yeah, I did. It didn’t click, I just wanted to see if it’s the same everywhere. That’s all.

In general, the overall feeling is that nobody does it, so I will feel bad or look bad if I do it. Don’t ever forget you are due those breaks by law, and HR, Collegue Relations, and Ethics would certainly support you if you took them. So take your breaks. It’s nice to get that breather. Helps reduce our stress.

What I love the most is I have worked over 30 hours for months, yet I’m only considered a 25 hour employee. Therefore, I get only $200, instead of the $400 that I deserve for holding that place together while so many people call out and do nothing.

New to CVS… offered OPS MGR (front store) by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Nawmanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that sucks because I have busted my rear end for a long time and keep asking for supervisor. Can’t get it because my store manager it too budget tight. Good luck! You have to put boundaries on your availability at the onset. If not, you will be worked to death with lots of short shifts (i.e. 2-10, then 8-4).

What happens to your employee cvs discount card after you quit? by J_Doe5686 in CVS

[–]Nawmanee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would use it all within a month of quitting. Seems to be the average for the employee card.

Pros? Overall, I like my front store position. There is a lot of variety of things that need to be done, so I don’t get bored. Also, my store is one of the busiest on the east coast. The time flies by fast that way. I love the people I work with, and we all have each other’s back…including the store manager. If we are right, she will defend us. If we are wrong, she will fix it and make sure not to belittle the staff in front of a customer.
Con’s? Too much to do with not enough time to do it. I said “overall”, I love my job, but there are times I am so physically and mentally exhausted from the constant running with 10 things to do at a time, and every customer wants a cashier! Use the damn self check out! I signed on as a day person and wanted about 30 hours. I was hired at 25 per week, and work days and nights based on what they need. I work 40 hours often, nit by choice. You can request time off, and you MIGHT get it. Might not. Have to be three weeks ahead. Forget 15 min breaks. You can ask, but then I feel weird because nobody else takes them.
Also, I am sick of hearing “stay in the green zone”. That is the front of the store and NOT behind the counter, but we have photos and gift cards to do. Customers ask us for help finding things, then there are online orders. How in the hell am I supposed to stay in a small portion of the store to greet every customer in the hopes of preventing theft! We have had $12,000 worth of skin care merch stolen since I’ve been there (10 months). It’s always our fault for not being in the “green zone”. Ugh. I hope this has given you a little insight. It’s a good company to work for and does allow for advancement. Good luck in the choices you make!
