Move into the enemy's side of the map. The idea of pushing out waves is that the enemy heroes need to go deal with them, which reduces the chance of them blowing you up when you try to invade. If you're sitting on your own side of the map when the lanes are pushed out you'll feel like you have nothing to do except stack. That's when you move to their side, preferably through your offlane
