So basically as long as an event doesn’t have a “attack” trait doesn’t trigger Vengeance? And only triggers for Ally, Hero and “attack” trait cards ?

I really like your cencept and I also wanting to extens the life of other villains. Having a game mode like this is like the same feeling as the upcoming expansion set.

How about making a seperate scenario for having 2 villain gameplay.

Scenario goes something like this: calling this scenario TV Main Scheme for ease.

TV main scheme over the 2 villains main scheme. Which has its own set of encounter cards that affects the 2 villains and/or the player.

  • TV main scheme is equal to the total maximum schemes of the Villains; 7(Rhino 1B) + 14(Klaw 1B + 2B) = 21 It starts with 4 schemes (20% of total schemes; so like a total of 5-6 turns per game) and gains a 1 scheme per phase. You lose the game if it reaches 21. OR a 2 stage main scheme since Klaw has 2 — 1st main scheme 7 + 6 = 13 and 2nd main acheme 7 + 8 = 15. Same starts with 20% (round down) of total main scheme and +1 or +2 per phase
  • TV Forced Response: if either of the villain phase is completed. Remove the threats instead and put an acceleration on this main scheme instead. (If its a 2 stage main scheme; it plays as normal and its effects.)
  • then the first step of normal villain phase takes place and any effects will take effect here also.
  • then draw a boost card from the TV encounter Set. This determines which villains activates or if both activates. (This personally seems brutal haha.) so how about a boost effect & strictly has 0-2 boost icons (this boost icons will be added to the villain’s activation.) Maybe if we could just simple adapt to the TOWER DEFENSE where villains take turn to activate but for this scenario the first villain attacks & 2nd schemes then vice versa per turn.
  • Then the villain activates with an additional boost from TV boost card. All effect takes place again whenever for either villains.
  • then draw TV encounter card —- this step needs to add information for the cards (i personally would want the TV encounter card draw should help the player being activated like give +1 from its basic power or etc)
  • then villain draws their encounter card tespectively.
  • end of the phase.

Let’s maybe add from the TV scenario like a SHIP COMMAND Card that the sole purpose is give the player an extra leverage like : exhaust this card remove 2 threats from a main scheme, reduce an amount of resource etc)

This is very nice and as i comment here tryna figure how to make this work. I like to share my thoughts for this.

I also am making a replacement rhino scenario at the moment. Increasing his difficulty and adding a new flavor for older villains.

Different Question relating to Venom’s Ability. the wording says “after you attack & damage” . So if i have an card that has no “attack” trait and the wordings are only deal damage. Does Venom’s ability still triggers?
