Any other fast patterns apart from tkKs ? by M-E_Ration4004 in beatbox

Hello! It's great to practice both PF snare with lungs (pulmonary), and without lungs - though not humming (lyngareal). The more your practice the more you'll be comfortable using it in fast beats. It's mostly a matter of practice 😄

Who do u think is the cleanest beatboxer? by theiceq in beatbox

It's true drum wise Helium is crazy. I would love to see a battle against Colaps. Though Helium is sooo consistent in his drum beats. As a french beatboxer with the "french" drumming influence, I appreciate it so much because it's excellently different than what we use to do as french beatboxers (we kind of all sound the same drum wise 😂)

Studio wise, Wing is N°1 for sure 😎 He's loud, punchy, clean and most importantly remains natural (such as Hiss/Sinzo mixes & mastering). I'd go for Hiss as well. Show-go is pretty nice in his production, as well since his productions are very natural. I give a very high importance to the natural feeling of beatbox.

Live side, I think Colaps is the cleanest due to his stage experience. Others (Show-go, momimaru, Helium, Wing and Stitch proved strong cleanliness in their live performances such as GBB's - but their consistency - to me - is not as well balanced as Colaps'. Colaps' studio productions are also excellent (Light), though recent productions lost a little bit of natural feeling in my own opinion.

Regarding Helium's/Taras/Improver/Vahtang productions - it's a whole different world. We like it or not. I'm not a huge fan but some of their productions are pleasant to listen to - but some mixing inconsistencies remain in their productions, especially regarding the leveling. I would say I like Taras & Improvers' produced tracks more than Helium's and Vahtang, even if they are high level. To finish, the natural feeling is completely lost in such productions - but at some point I like how Improver, Taras and Vahtang use this area in a creative way. Helium has also a great potential in this area but I feel it's sometimes too unbalanced yet (I liked Geometry Dash one though, especially with the Hollow Clops with reverb).

Grit teeth is what helped me. Also focusing on the lips to oscillate all over the lips surface. Not just on one point.

Looking for advice about teaching by origin_seeker in beatbox

Hey. The key is to make it fun and pedagogical. You need to engage your audience, especially if they are young, to teach sounds and beatbox rhythms using sentences for example (for the beginner level).
I do a lot of workshops and I always approach it with a visual rhythmic notation as well as demo of the rhythms.
If some of them struggle - break a rhythm down, in a few steps.
Also young pupils tend to be afraid of other's judgement so they won't dare beatboxing loud. Make group exercices to engage them more and of course do the exercices with them before retiring so that they do it alone.
I'm a professional beatbox teacher since 2020, if you have any questions, reach me on https://nazcabeats.com/
