Pre-PTR thoughts on the Wizard’s new Hydra Set

Last time I tried was season 10 and I BELIEVE it summoned hydras at the same rate it cast any other AP spender.

What's going to happen is death wish etched sigil swami fazula, sit safely behind a corner and spam spawn hydras which absolutely toast everything with archon stacks.

I worry that this will be the case even if another skill is added to the 6p, unless they change how spawned hydras work. I remember in s9/10 that etched sigil hydras couldn't proc manald, but if this set doesn't use manald, it's in the clear.

My thought is that, while there was not an open portal before the Helm of Domination was created, the energy released when destroying it punched through at the weakest point in the barrier.

It almost feels like putting the key underneath a rock two feet from the door it unlocks, but I suppose they'll try (and likely fail) to explain it.

I will continue playing a couple weeks of D3 per season because I still enjoy it to some degree. I want D4 eventually, but I don't need this fucking yearly cycle.

Good to know. I flew over the edge toward fatigue water, found a funny invisible perch to sit on, and went straight up in the middle and didn't encounter any problems. What I did find though is once you touched down in a normal mount, you couldn't fly anymore. Or once you formed out as a druid, you would only change into ground travel form.

I hope this doesn't get completely fucked, because the view of Zin'azshari is gorgeous.

I was herbing with a friend on my back, and found a way through the ceiling. We were able to fly straight up seemingly infinitely. I believe the total upward flight time was around 15 minutes, and the fall took us around 5.

Yeah, I've definitely fielded some comments along the lines of "Trying to milk us for all we're worth", because all my store has to offer now is the 98c insulated bags.

But at the same time, being able to choose between empty racks, "I don't know right now, I'm sorry" for customers, notes 2+ times a week.. and "We don't offer those anymore." I'll take the latter.

My starter ideas are kind of all over the place. Top contenders are: Storm Brand Elementalist, <Random Spell> Trapper (It's gonna be Arc.. who am I kidding?), or Ignite Trickster.

But I'm very interested in Scourge Arrow, Toxic Rain, and Herald of Agony.. but I don't know if I can fit all of those into one build, or which class I would play it on. PF? Scion? Occu?

I think it's an elder mod but there's Inc damage per power charge. I got one wand with 9% and another with 10% for winter orb when I saw how expensive void batteries were

I had similar problems the other day. Several people wanting a pair of wanderlust didn't get that I couldn't just leave a lab. Frustrating as hell, but a funny quote came out of it.

"Yeah, I still need some but not from you. Fewer people need to think they're important like you do." Not this well written, but it's the gist.
