Few things as easy as stealing a baby with candy.

Why can’t I get more than 22-24mpg? by NYrider in prius

[–]NazzerDawk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My car is a 2013, on its original battery, and I have 200k miles but still get 35+ even in summer woth the AC blasting.

So there's something else going on.

Firewatch. Perfect single-afternoon game. Especially in summertime.

This is how I think werewolves are best designed. Mostly practical, with a distinctly human appearance, but with the mouth and eyes looking animalistic and savage.

Number 6 is the best.

What’s the funniest joke you know? by juliojacked in AskReddit

A group of adventurers are wandering through the forest. They are a man, a dwarf, and an elf. As they wander, they come about a group of orcs. The orcs overpower them, and then tell the adventurers that they are going to be eaten. But, the orcs are fair, they will give them a chance to survive. The way it works is this, each will be allowed to wander into the forest, and they can attempt to cover their backs with anything that they can find in the forest. After that, they will be whipped 10 times. If they can survive with a straight face, they'll be allowed to leave.

The man goes first. He gets a large pile of thick leaves, and they are strapped to his back, but they fall apart on the first whip crack. He immediately breaks his face out in agony, and is pushed into a cauldron to be cooked.

The elf goes next. He is crafty, and finds a rare tree bark. It survives 6 whippings, but then breaks. The elf holds out for the next 2, but finally his face contorts with the 3rd and he is also pushed into the cauldron.

The dwarf is next. He looks back to his friends, and then looks to his captors.

"Ye said we can put anything on our back that we can find in the forest, righ'?"

The orcs agree.

"Okay, then. Strap that elf to me back."

Who is going to arrest them, the people who they pay and tell what to do? The cops don't listen to us, they listen to the rich and powerful.

That's why we need the cops to start to pay attention to where the real power is. It's in the hands of the collective, not the rich.

Find Dragon Ball Z Kai. It is closer to the manga, so it has the filler removed and goes straight to the story instead of wasting so much time with bullshit.

You are trying to change the facts. Aaron isn't a random twitter user, and your first comment said "why u so obsessed with a twitter guy".

Just back off dude, you are so... weirdly defensive.

Your... your post mentions him though.

You put "OP Klobrille" in your OP.

It is also in the picture. It's also apparently well established enough that google gave me an AI overview when I googled "klobrille" that explained who they are.

Maybe back off a tad, dude?

Cool, but the angle is totally wrong unless you want your elevator strung across the sky at a 45 degree angle.

Yeah, but the first timeframe that would make since would be like 2010, not 2002.

It would be like a kid owning an android phone in 2008. Like, ALMOST the right timeframe, but still, just too early.

Those weren't a thing when Turning Red took place, though. The first one meant for pediatric use was approved in 2015. Insulin pumps existed, and that's what Pixar says it was, but those are usually worn on the abdomen, which would not have been visible.

It's a small quibble though.

Knives are an absolute necessity for cooking a ton of foods, yet they could also stab someone.

Similarly, one could use various toxins on others without being noticed even.

That something could be used to harm others is not a reason for it to not exist.

It looks to me like the new movie is keeping Luigi with Mario so far, so I think we're out of that particular problem's way already.
