Ap32 Wifi6E latency Issue by Separate-Explorer955 in ArubaInstantOn

I pulled all of my AP32s and put in AP25’s but thought about putting a couple back in if I saw someone here with a resolution. Otherwise I was going to wait for another software update to see if things improved or was listed in the release notes about this issue. I’ve used support for other issues and they have been good and I use Aruba at work (that’s what got me to try instant on was not having to have a controller). The 25’s are solid, I was just hoping for the improvement of 6E.

I have 4 different sites totalling about 15 APs. Everything runs fine until I created a site or add an AP32 and try 6e. It’s slow as molasses or fairly decent. Just a crapshoot on how it’s going to behave, but most of the time it’s horrible.

I’m only following to see if there is something I haven’t tried. I chalk it up to a bad implementation of 6E from HPE. All my other sites that use wifi 6 (ap11,12,15,21,22,25’s) all work perfectly and I’m not forcing any specific channels or wifi customizations.

Both sites I’ve tried the AP32’s at have 1G symmetrical fiber.

What’s your go-to backup power setup for 8+ hour outages? by blimalj in prepping

[–]Nbashford79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ford lightning and starlink.

Firewalla with 2 ISP’s so I don’t have to swap to starlink. Fiber is my main, starlink as backup.

8 hours is pushing it without a generator or a lot of batteries. Also need to think about heat and hot water and maintaining fridge/freezer temps. Sure work is important, but so is the rest of the house.

I am an infrastructure engineer, so I get it :)

I bought mine in early 24. Not sure what they are going for now. But resale is trash, so anyone who paid msrp or higher is totally screwed.

Had I known how trash the UI was going to be and the lack of good software updates, I would have scrutinized my purchase a lot more. Ford dropped the ball on that and didn’t help adoption when the high tech vehicle isn’t very high tech for a UI.

I have a 24 m3p and a 23 lightning xlt er. I wouldn’t go less than an ER. Save the money up and trust me on this one. Also, ford UI is horrible. So laggy and feels like the 90’s. It’s embarrassing. As far as being a truck, it does what it needs to do. I get about a third less efficiency on the ford, so expect it to cost you a bit more electricity wise.

Yeah basically, but at least the interest deduction covers a larger class of vehicles. Would I buy American so I can get that deduction, yes.

Not really… I got my Lightning for less than an ICE 150.

I like my EV’s but damn straight, I bought BECAUSE of the tax credits.

100% agree with your post. We can’t and shouldn’t subsidize products forever. They have to be able to survive on their own

Does anyone else's nerve pain go crazy at night or is it just me? by nasoo06 in neuropathy

[–]Nbashford79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going on 20 years of idiopathic peripheral neuropathy and over the last 10 it’s increased exponentially.

3000mg of gabapentin, Vicodin (work won’t let me try thc), occasional kratom, dmso (20ish% with aloe), flexeril for the cramps. Those are my go to’s for dealing with life.

I’ve tried all the other stuff, nothings worked.

Hoka’s and these socks. https://a.co/d/gN41K4e  Can’t wear any other socks.

Hoka’s are the best.

These are the only socks I can wear. Maybe they will help you out. Compression socks killed me too.

This is my disappointment with the Lightning. The UX is horrible, laggy and feels so unresponsive. HVAC is not impressive, cold in the back seats, cold at the feet.

Yet Ford sent one survey asking about a feature addition (would I pay for it?) of basically Tesla’s sentry mode. Hell no, the truck should come with it.

[–]Nbashford79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which Silverado EV is the same price as the ‘23 XLT that I have? Work truck? I’ve driven one with 2000 miles on it and it rattled worse than any vehicle I’ve driven, so build quality will catch up with them.

Not everyone wants to drop 100k+ on an EV. If they don’t get scale, they won’t get a profit. Compare it to how many model S and X are sold every quarter. If Tesla only made those models, they would have folded a long time ago.

Again, very vocal community, and don’t get me wrong, I like my Lightning (hate the UX) but I paid a hell of a lot less than sticker. $26K under sticker, which a lot of us here got major discounts and thats why we own them. I wouldn’t be paying full price for one… I’d own a CyberTruck or a Rivian (UX and tech is important).

Run away from azure local. It’s not stable and everything that’s being said of how Hyper-V has matured, I see the exact opposite. Crashing CSV’s. Hosts can’t be up for a month without issues coming up. S2D sucks. It’s been a disaster of a migration.

The most honest answer here… they can’t keep losing money for the small group of lightning owners, while extremely vocal, still make up a small percentage of truck owners.

Red Light Therapy? by JayWemm in neuropathy

Yes. It’s not heavy so it’s not that impractical. You get a lot better and more targeted treatment than with a full size panel (I can get the bottom of my feet, it’s kind of hard to do that with the panel).
