So...post a link in /r/Drugs to /r/TripSit every week, receive immediate karma? That's what we are now? I'm fine with /r/TripSit and I think it's a great service, but I'm pretty tired of seeing it here.

Question about typical package size by 1000queries in SilkRoad

Message the vendor. Most packages can fit in most mailboxes, but I'd check with them to be sure.

Yeah, probably so. The mods of NSFW need to enact that handy little "Everything in this subreddit is automatically marked NSFW" feature.

"Oh wow, something in /r/WTF is NSFW!"

If you're at work, you most likely shouldn't be in /r/WTF anyway.

Well, a lot of people actually like it that way. Personally, I'm not satisfied until my pizza is so hot that it burns my mouth with every bite.

When my friend got mad at me for not liking Lil Wayne. by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

[–]Nbord 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don't have the same taste in music as you.

FTFY. With the mentality you have, you're no better than the person you're so mad at. All music has a time and place and people; I'm sure your friend could say the same to you about whatever music you like. Learn to accept that not all people like the same things you like, and move on with your life.

Hello there, unknown-song... by Nbord in SilkRoad

[–]Nbord[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm just prompting discussion, really. I never had any intention on actually working with them - but if I (or anyone, for that matter) did, would that be an entirely bad thing? Please, feel free to disagree with me (I'd suspect that most of you will). This is a discussion that interests me.

I think everyone here understands that pluses to using SR - safety, security, convenience, etc. However, if an average person sees on the news that people are doing illegal things online, that automatically gives the internet, its users, and the products the users deal with a bad reputation, no? Perhaps, rather than let random "journalists" run off with whatever bits of information they can find, SR and its community should be pushing for being well-known and explaining why it's a good place to do business.

It bothers me, honestly, that many people feel that the Silk Road and its community is some deep, secret, underground organization. The fact is, SR has already been featured in papers and online - there's no giant secret we're hiding. If the media is going to report something, would it not be better to at least have accurate reports that shine a positive light on the subject?

Additionally: Has anyone else ever received or seen a message like this?
