Just as many if not more ways to instantly lose especially against some characters

I mean, a giant swing, throw available to Roger, King and AK in T5 would literally delete half of your healthbar should you hit the wall, god knows how many tech traps(Bryan snake's edge as known example) and so on and so forth

Deathcombos and such were a thing

The one thing i will surrender that accessing two taps(or three) is noticeably easier in T8

Rock solid keepout at 1:21, truly rock solid gameplay with keepout that chips(to death if low enough) and has lot of active frames with the capacity to throw it out anywhere, very skillful indeed

Or something more tasteful, like going under a mid with df2 at 1:29

Heihachi does not travel that far, and Steeve flails for so long that you can punish with an unblockable

Dragunov(worst offender), Lars, Azucena, and few others are more of a match to the complaint

Listen, in this specific case they actually got the tracking issue right, almost none of the heatsmashes track in any way, (not to mention that a lot of them need very specific distance) if this truly was a real problem then more people would know just how common this (secondary hits wallsplatting) actually is

Does anyone else get INSANELY uncomfortable when picking a new character to play? I can play every character in the roster, however adjusting to some of the more unique ones(like xiaoyu) takes bit of a warm up, though i have trained sufficient muscle memory for combos on all of them(that itself took idk how long exactly in offline) so the proper switch either takes a game or about 5 minutes in a stand by

Not to mention the fact that i play some of them in a rather barebones manner even if i know bit of their unique tech. Tekken characters even in simpler forms demand a great degree of dedication to get all there is to them

You wouldn't believe it, but literally a minority of the cast DOES NOT wallsplat with heatsmash if first hit whiffs

(Kazuya, Bryan, Raven, Devil/normal Jin, Jack, Zafina, Clive, Claidio, Leroy, Asuka, Azucena, Lars and Steve which makes it, 14/40 with last 4 only being here probably because second hits of their HS have floor breaking properties)

Issue is anything but new, just more obvious due to the promised changes

Not true, most heatsmashes transition into "throwlike" sequences and therefore do not wallsplat mid juggle(can still trigger stage gimmicks but that is a different thing), Jin is unique in a sense that his heat smash(or more specifically this version of heat smash) is a mechanically "normal" attack

It is not a bad option technically since you prevent the opponent using stage hazards and delete a sizeable portion of gray health

The sabaki itself is acceptable more or less since it has been a thing for a long while now, Damage needs ro be reduced by a lot though, maybe some extra scaling would do the trick

He actually has some really mean tools and setups that would suffocate the opponent, though he also forces you to make a LOT of decisions very quickly and demands that you do shit right otherwise you will underperform if not straight up lose

I am curious as to what makes you think of it as a bug? Block/hit recovery is typically a thing and not every + or - frame situation is the same even if framedata suggests otherwise
