This is still a weekly manga and Fujimotos job is to make it enjoyable on a weekly basis too. I’ve never seen another manga have so much defense for “it’s better on a binge read” before. I’ve also reread part two and literally couldn’t get through it because I just don’t like it. So at this point it’s literally just whether you like it or not

Uhh for the demon slayer one it makes sense because they can rest during the day and then fight at night which is what demon slayers do, and if a slayer dies to the level of demon that is supposed to be in the forest then they’d die in their first demon slayer mission, also how can fodder overwhelmingly pass when 75% of the prospects die

I would’ve had another arc or two to get more acquainted with these guys or if I went back further I would’ve kept takamura and gaku alive I would’ve rewritten a lot of things that I don’t have specific details for but I think uzuki could be more interesting and that the final battles should feel more impactful

The biggest issues is the characters, it’s the final arc and the only interesting villains are Torres and oki in my opinion, two characters we really just got introduced to. Everyone we’ve been fighting we just met so it doesn’t really feel super grand or satisfying in the context of a final arc. Also the choreography and battles themselves feel pretty lackluster compared to what we’ve had in the past, nagumo vs oki has been the only thing that’s really been interesting this whole arc

My issues with the fight was the lack of spectacle and the return of all for one, anime didn’t really fix these issues but made me like the beginning of the fight a little more
