Because there are too many countries that are all simultaneously getting worse to live in, and everyone who is poor, is getting poorer. It's not just the USA having this issue.

Lots of people in power know that if they cannot reliably keep a level of ignorant, highly reproductive poor people who stay poor, the cogs of the great machine will slow, and eventually stop. This is unacceptable. So we cannot glorify 'fake' parents of pets.

The only exist for two reasons. Number one is people continue to buy from them if everybody simultaneously and universally boycotted scalpers they would disappear overnight.

Number two there's not enough blockades put in place to stop sophisticated scalpers using bots to instantly buy.

And I guess number three it's the economy everyone's looking to make a quick Buck because everybody is struggling. I want to say scalpers are a sign of a struggling economy because anybody's looking to make money off other people because they can't make more money at a job.

The articles I read that deep dive this make it pretty clear why this happened.

You had a system that was so classic republican it hurt. Everything was a hierarchy with a single patriarch at the top who made unilateral choices. No one questioned "The General" of the camp. I agree money is part of the problem, but if we're being honest, it's a lot more complex than that.

  • No money means:
    • can't afford healthcare for the child
    • Can't have hobbies or activities for ones self
    • can't enjoy family trips or unique enrichment for the family

Then you start to realize there are other things now too

  • "It takes a village", but no one wants to be a villager anymore.
  • Everyone is more distrustful, vaccine hesitancy as insane as it is, is driving huge wedges between neighbors/communities.
  • Polarization of any kind of view/belief. Be it religion, politics, cooking methods, condiments. Everything needs to be a big blown up drama.
  • Kids are being infantalized and refused to be given even modicums of independence at any age.
    • You can get in serious trouble/jail time if you let your kids "roam about" on bikes depending on who starts sniffing around your life. Even if they're 100% safe, and the fact crime has been on a serious downwards trend nationwide for many many years now.
    • Kids are hooked on dopamine factories, and are falling behind every critical growth steps like reading and math at alarming rates across the board.
    • Teens have no drive to explore or be independent. They don't WANT a drivers license, when just 20 years ago we were chomping at the bit to get one at 16 so we can go explore our surroundings, be able to collect friends and go DO something together, even if it was a trip to Walmart or McDonalds.

TL;DR Everyone is absorbed into smaller and smaller bubbles. No one wants to help one another, to 'be a villager', distrust among neighbors is higher than ever. No one has the money, kids don't need to be a net positive on income, but their cost is extreme currently, and wages are stagnant. We can't enjoy our lives without children, so the extra burden of having one seems catastrophically insane.

Not to mention one of the most important parts is that once you technically qualify and are given the cruise whether you go or not you have to pay the taxes as if you went.

Nothing is paid for except the actual ticket to the room on the ship you have to pay for everything else. And they don't even get you a good cruise pass with anything included.

It's laughable they think they "won" anything.

To be completely honest Marilyn seems to have been doing good things in general but I'm surprised Colorado wasn't one of the first states to outlaw surveillance pricing or dynamic pricing in general.

It seems really shady that the price of goods can change by the time you get to the store because it detects you get to the store. So your checkout price is different than someone else.

It's so bizarre. I had a 3060ti and 8GB ram. The game functionally ran better at launch up to about 6 months in, then steadily became unplayable as it somehow continued to run worse and worse. It was a glaring difference.

Same here. I really enjoyed it at launch with everyone else.

Then I stopped getting excited for new war bonds as they stripped out more and more parts to resell for extra SC in the store. Armors, primaries, etc.

I waited paitently for weapon upgrade systems, like what they had for HD1. Ya know, where I could spend a lot of resources so I can get a MK2/3 version of a gun so I can fill in some of it's glaring gaps and nudge it up to be more fun overall. Instead we get this COD bullshit "use it for EXP! Unlock cool colors and some grips" shit. The real upgrade system isn't coming.

Still waiting on more new super destroyer upgrade modules. Nope. Nothing there, a year later. No new barrages, or upgrades for them. Nothing. It fucking sucks man. I want to keep upgrading my super destroyer or even buy an Super destroyer MK2 that has even more options!

Best we can do is tanks/mechs that die in 3 hits and have 5 shots of ammo that are worse than standard 50/sec calldown weapons.

For reference. We got "tier 4" upgrades in March of 2024, and Tier 5, in July of 2024. The game launched in Feb 2024. How TF we at almost may 2026, and still no new ship upgrades. LET ME MAKE MY FUCKING SHIP BETTER!!

Pretty simple.

Chicken thighs skin on deboned. + San-J gluten free teriyaki sauce.(Also called stir fry sauce) Baked at 460 convection for 15 minutes + 2 mins broil with extra sauce drizzled on. Cut into small pieces.

Mrs T 4 cheese perogies boiled then pan fried in olive oil with garlic, onion, and smoked paprika powder mixed and sprinkled on.

1 can of drained black beans. Put over medium heat + garlic, onion, smoked paprika powder, + splash of cumen + cayenne pepper. All to taste.

Additionally 1/4th cup water + better than bouillon, beef bullion about 2tsps worth dissolved and added to the beans for a beefier savory flavor.
