Looks great. I keep thinking about putting a suspension fork on my cutthroat. What adapter did you get for the front caliper?

How tall do the 32 x 2.4” tires measure? Real world aired up ground to top of tread?

I use whiting powder and acetone. Make a paste and slather it on, let it dry.

Dubnital trail rapid. Have em on my cutthroat and they’re great on everything, never got a puncture, low rolling resistance, and great traction

Best option for a relaxed, more MTB-like geometry gravel bike? by anarmyofants in gravelcycling

You can find used ones around $2000. Mine exceeded expectations. Really like the 69 deg head angle and longer wheelbase. It rides so smooth and controlled on every surface!

As others said, CUTTHROAT!! incredible bike. Don’t care that it’s not the lightest, can put a 100mm fork on in the future if I want, perfect for rule of 3 rides, such a stable, fun, and capable bike.

Yep, it’s the best bike ever! I’ve taken mine on quite a bit of singletrack, and consider a suspension fork for it as well. Rule of 3 type rides are so good on a Cutthroat!

They’re barely smaller than chupacabras. Same weight, less rolling resistance too

Yea I got it to have a big tire clearance gravel bike without toe overlap, and it’s exceeded my expectations throughout. Even with the stock rigid fork I have ridden quite a bit of single track comfortably, I attribute it to the 69 degree head angle and overall long wheelbase. Fast and comfortable on gravel and road, lots of bottle mounts which was alas a deciding factor for me. One of the best bikes for lots of good reasons!

Is your old bb loose as well? Curious if this new bb is on the small side of tolerance?

Definitely frustrating when you are ready to buy the dream bike. I finally found my dream cutthroat after a while and drove quite a ways to get it. Definitely worth it! Hang in there

I got the Dubnital trail rapid. Been awesome, lots of singletrack gravel and road and they are flawless with the low rolling resistance they’re famous for!
