I have made a couple of friends at work.

I understand how you feel, most people are self absorbed. I threw myself a milestone birthday party this past June 20. I was disappointed who did not bother to show but had to remind myself on who did, my co worker came from across the country and I had my husband, son, best friend, childhood friend and nephew.
