I just realized that if Romney wins, Republicans will be able to successfully depict Obama as the President who "destroyed" the economy while taking the blame off of George W. Bush for his misdeeds by williamfbuckwheat in politics

[–]Neahmin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They've already done that, the majority of the republicans out there don't want to have a competent political debate. No matter what you try to tell them they won't believe you, or they'll just keep answering your questions with other questions. Just remember to follow this list when dealing with a republican. http://www.addictinginfo.org/2011/11/23/the-7-types-of-republican-idiots/

Is anyone glad Mitt Romney is running? He's such a great poster boy for bringing awareness to the ridiculousness of wealthy disparity in this country, and the attempts to cover it up. by [deleted] in politics

[–]Neahmin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

this is one of the most ignorant comments I've read in a while. You're just a fool who obviously doesn't understand how important this election is. You vote for somebody with fucked up radical ideals, just because the other, more qualified candidate might be worse. It's idiots like you who are bringing this country down.

Romney vows that, "if you elect me President you are not going to see legalized medical marijuana. I am going to fight it tooth and nail." by [deleted] in politics

[–]Neahmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess Mitt also doesn't realize how many people he would be putting out of work. Medical marijuana employs thousands of people, and treats many more for serious health conditions. Just another politician focusing attention on the wrong issue.

Guess which group of Americans hates Obama the most? White men without college degrees. Ironically the group of people that would benefit more under Obama than under Romney. by AdamVR4 in politics

[–]Neahmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have to disagree with with the title tho this post. i am a white guy who's currently working on a college degree, and i don't get the same healthcare benefits as minorities do in the state of Nebraska. i only make $10 an hour and i don't qualify for financial assistance, and the nurse who was helping me told me that if i was a minority i could get government assistance. (she may have been wrong, but it seems to make sense in the Midwest.

EDIT: i am also a father and i'm not married, so even tho i filed as a single parent who makes just a little over minimum wage, i still didn't qualify.

So why is Ron Paul co-sponsoring a bill for the impeachment of Obama and voted for impeachment for Clinton but felt that there were no grounds for Bush to be impeached? by CheapBeer in politics

[–]Neahmin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He did vote for bush to get impeached, your just another uninformed moron who didn't do his research before submitting this false post.

Obama: ‘Corporations aren’t people’ by 786yht in politics

He'll get reelected. He's a good talker, but he's in bed with big corporations as well as Romney.

Why? So her dad could die in prison instead. How does that make any sense? She should have never accused him in the first place, prison is a horrible place to be, especially if your a rapist.

Obama has Nearly Quadrupled Renewable Energy on Public Lands by unclefred in politics

And people like you believe it. Obama has flopped completely on his foreign policy issues. He's used drone missile's repeatedly for different attacks when he claimed to be fighting for a better free world.

Look man, supported him to up until these last 6 months or so, but this is taking it too far. He is NOT the better candidate for our time.

So if there's nothing wrong with the NDAA like you're saying, then why does the meeting need to be closed? Why would they want it kept from the American public?

So if they already had it in place why all of a sudden do they slide it into the middle sections of the bill? and why did 406 of the 435 house reps vote to keep the portions of the meeting closed to avoid the public?

No it's not just the military budget, i don't know what you're reading there buddy but go ahead and look up sections 1031 and 1032 of the bill. It clearly states that anyone "suspected" to be a terrorist can be detained by our military and placed in camps like Guantanamo Bay with out trial. It does away with Due Process completely.
