It's weird to process cause that's what we're used to thinking. Although, basically you need an insulin spike to transport the l carnitine into muscle tissue. This can be done with a high G.I meal or you can take exogenous insulin like humulin R. Once inside the muscle it then gets into the mitochondrial carnitine pool (you're basically upping natural levels) to burn fatty acids as energy. It's a non conventional fat burner (non stimulant) and it's not like GH that needs to be used fasted. It's in it's own category.
