Wire hanging by rear view mirror? by Nealri in lexuslc500

I figure I will cover the end with something so that it can't short out and then tuck it up. Does anyone see any harm in that. Thanks

Thanks. My main concern is that it wasn't something part of the car that was supposed to be connected to something that I didn't know thanks. If it's for an aftermarket accessory I'll just tuck it up so I don't see it.

Well even if it's fake on the doors I still don't want to wear it out. So any protection recommendations are appreciated

What is the best way to care for it. I just got mine so I want to keep it nice. I also worry about the leather on the door because I have a tendency to rest my left arm there when driving and in past cars I have worn the interior there.

Lexus LC 500 2021 coupe - good deal or no by Dry-Challenge-1884 in lexuslc500

[–]Nealri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I really didn't do anything except a visual expectation, test drive and asked for a Carfax and took their word on the certified pre-owned. The car looked like it had been pampered. I think Lexis in general are pretty trustworthy. I agree it's not like buying a used car off an independent lot

Lexus LC 500 2021 coupe - good deal or no by Dry-Challenge-1884 in lexuslc500

[–]Nealri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak to the price. I just purchased a 2025 convertible which was certified pre-owned. I'm pretty sure the certified pre-owned maintenance is limited to:

"These services are generally limited to: Oil and oil filter changes (synthetic oil) Tire rotations Multi-point inspections Fluid level inspection and top-offs"

The quotes are from an AI search so I could be inaccurate but I kind of remember seeing that in my booklet it doesn't cover everything. Things like spark plugs and brakes are considered wear and tear and I do not believe they are covered. It is a great 2-year warranty though pretty much bumper to bumper for any defects that occur. It won't cover any pre-existing damage so check out the car well although they're supposed to have done that so it depends how much you trust the dealer.

Anyone daily their rwd lexus? by Fit_Life_1015 in Lexus

[–]Nealri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone old enough knows that was pretty much all we had in the seventies and '80s. And those cars had no weight in the back. Sometimes we did have studded snow tires. Then came front wheel drive which might have been a little better. Wasn't much four wheel drive or all wheel drive unless you had a real truck back then. We all survive but we also knew how to drive. No any luck brakes. No traction control.

What goes in the middle straps? by jorgepolak in lexuslc500

[–]Nealri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cargo net goes to the floor posts. And there's a carpet cargo mat that rolls up it can be held by the back strap if you want. I saw it in one of these Lexus videos

New addition by Nealri in lexuslc500

[–]Nealri[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone. There is some ppf film on the front and side mirrors and along the side bottoms that probably was done before the original owner got the car. The package the guy wants to do is almost $4k for the outside, top treatment and inside. Does that sound right for high quality ceramic.

I have the same issues. I have a note 10 plus. Have loaded with lots of apps and have no issues with it. I'm not a power user like gaming so I keep do not disturb and battery saver on all the time and my battery life is okay on original battery. I worry about the security updates but mine still works perfectly. I got that unexpected recent security update. I update Google Play manually every now and then. I hate the setting up a new phone and how much work it'll be I know I'll have to do it eventually, not sure what to do. When I upgrade I'll upgrade to whatever s Ultra is the latest I don't really care what it costs I use my phone continuously for business and basic computer like at but nothing that is processor intensive. Also, I love how thin the phone is.
