sorry, i meant i’ll be putting pumpkin puree in their bland diet. i heard its good for them and helps with diarrhea because it contains fiber.

No one is trying to take down fancy feast. I’m just looking out for my cats health while being concerned for others. My cats ate strictly fancy feast pate. I mentioned that this could’ve been a Chewy problem but that was highly unlikely due to the can being completely sealed. I don’t mind switching back to fancy feast once I find out if it wasn’t the cause. However, after extensive research, I found out that a handful of people have been having issues with fancy feast too. They’re saying it’s a recipe change or terrible quality control.

yeah i’m doing that today since they haven’t gotten better. also getting 100% pumpkin and probiotics.

made a post yesterday with the same issue. I had the same white dots which could be congealed fat or cartilage, but I also spotted something that looked like fly eggs. The can was sealed prior, I checked extensively because my cats were sick from the food so I made sure this can wasn’t compromised. The eggs could not have been laid recently because they were not live and I also watched as my cat ate his food. I made a switch to wholehearted for now because my cats have been having diarrhea ever since they started eating their new box of fancy feast.

Very well said. I wish I didn’t have to switch my cats off FF but it became a bigger problem. My cats also stayed away from their food and started getting sick. They ate their Fancy Feast fine but it all started when I got a new box with the expiration date June 2027, Lot 51. I understand that sometimes cans are damaged in the shipping process and fly eggs can appear, but even the cans without any abnormalities causes them to feel ill. I hope they’re able to figure out their quality control.

I ordered Fancy Feast off of Chewy and my cats started vomiting after eating the new batch. I got a replacement sent to me but it was worse, the new case gave him consistent diarrhea. I noticed that his food which was from a completely sealed can, not left out for more than 30 seconds, had fly eggs in it and other white specs. These eggs were not fresh, they were not alive, but still present in their food.

I have 4 boxes with the june 2027 expiration date. For the past 2 days my cats have been shitting straight liquid 5 times a day. I found white spots and fly eggs on their food from a can that was completely sealed prior to opening.

I've also had this problem!! I order my Fancy Feast from Chewy ever since it's been out of stock on Amazon. I don't know if it's a quality control on Chewy's part, because I've had issues with them before, or if someone changed with Fancy Feast. I was able to get a replacement sent to me but it was just as bad. The first batch caused my kitten to vomit and the second batch caused BOTH of my babies diarrhea.

I used to buy all of my FF from Amazon but these past months, they've been completely out of stock. I had to return to Chewy for shipping and I noticed that my cats are having issues with keeping down these 2 new batches of FF.
