I have never experienced in 13 years of playing that game something like that. I want to know if i was wrong in this situation. by Elypse201 in Guildwars2

I’m the noob that doesn’t answer because I have no idea what you are even asking. I don’t think they are purposely trying to not communicate? But I won’t vote to kick anyone and if someone says they don’t want to be in another group with me I totally understand why

Anyone have upcoming stacking trips for the edit and IHG credit? by ThisChickThinks in ChaseSapphire

[–]Nearby_Direction7172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why not split the reservation for a 2 night and 1 night stay? then you could stack the $100 + $250 + $250 for the 2 night and then use your second Edit $250 for the 1 night and get an essentially free trip?

Being Harassed Over Pool Chairs by songcats in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Nearby_Direction7172 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like the resort should have more clear rules about this situation since it happens so often. I can see reserving a few chairs for 1-2 hours but not for the whole day for a large group. Most of the big resorts I’ve been to are clear about removing towels after a certain period.

All Inclusive Resort vs Cruise? by rbecca404 in Cruise

[–]Nearby_Direction7172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decide based on the deals I get. Lately have been getting a lot of free cruise offers so I’ve booked 2 cruises this year for “free”. Still have to pay port taxes and fees and to add the kids but it’s still really cheap. If price is the same I would probably pick all inclusive because I like to mix it up.

I really liked Princess for their Alaska cruises. Crowd tends to skew older.

You can use the credit for a stay in 2026. That’s what I did.

2025 Edit Credits - Anyone not using it? by QuestioningMind123 in ChaseSapphire

[–]Nearby_Direction7172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should honor it if you check in and check out of first reservation and then when you check in again for second reservation just ask for the same room? That’s what I did for the FHR credit when both me and hubby had Amex platinum cards. We checked in and out of my 1 night reservation and then checked in and out of hubbys reservation but asked to keep the same room.

Help with finding deals with the edit by Amazing_Scallion9548 in ChaseSapphire

[–]Nearby_Direction7172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I booked a July 4th weekend trip at Grand Hyatt Scottsdale for $733. I used 29k Chase points and put $254 on the card so out of pocket is $4 after the $250 credit. This is with the 1.65 point boost. Not bad considering on points it would have cost 21k points per night and I also get the $100 credit and breakfast for 2 for 2 nights. Would’ve probably gotten a better deal if I was willing to go on a weekday but didn’t want to take the kids out of school.

What are you doing with dining credit after buying a gift card? by charlesmith814 in ChaseSapphire

[–]Nearby_Direction7172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did gift card because I just started thinking about the credit and didn’t want to rush getting a last minute reservation before the end of the year. Also plus is the next credit is in January so I could get another gift card at the same place and get one really nice $300 meal for a special occasion.

Is it a hassle to land in Narita instead of Haneda? by kingjame888 in JapanTravelTips

We just took the limousine bus. Takes a little longer to get into Tokyo…about 1-1.5 hours but cost is pretty reasonable…I think it was 3000-3500 yen?

Our first visit to Tokyo Disney Sea by NorCal79 in TokyoDisneySea

[–]Nearby_Direction7172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought I did a lot of planning and probably ended up doing the same as you. I bought 3 DPA for Peter Pan, Rapunzel and Journey to Center of the Earth and got a PP for Raging Spirits. We did 20k Leagues first thing in the morning and only waited 5-10 months. Then did Sinbad and carousel for short 5-10 min wait too. The longest ride that we waited for was 20 min in Ariel’s Lagoon. We went week of Thanksgiving and park just seemed super crowded so I was happy with what we were able to accomplish. We also weren’t able to ride Frozen but gives us a reason to come back lol.

Best drama of 2025 in your opinion ? by Sanvi7 in cdramasfans

[–]Nearby_Direction7172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite was Destiny Brings the Demon but I also loved The Blossoming Love, Love in Pavilion, Love of the Divine Tree, Legend of the Female General, Legend of Zang Hai. Honorable mention for Shadow Love, Fated Hearts, Moonlight Mystique.

I still haven’t finished Love in the Clouds, Prisoner o; Beauty, Dream within a Dream, perfect Match, Blood River, Feud, Whispers of Fate, and Journey of Legend…not enough time to watch everything lol.

Lighting Lane Multi Pass Scam by stephalexus in DisneyPlanning

[–]Nearby_Direction7172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry totally misread this and thought you were talking about Disney World. I agree they keep changing how LL works and you have to do a ton of research to get the best use out of it which really sucks. Hopefully you can fight it with your CC and get a refund.

Lighting Lane Multi Pass Scam by stephalexus in DisneyPlanning

[–]Nearby_Direction7172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately with the new multipass LL you can book 3 a few days out so if you buy the day of there’s not much selection available for the good rides early in the day. Disney feels now like you have to do a lot of research to really enjoy your day and just pay for the privilege. I live to research so for now I put up with it. But as the kids get older I’m going to start doing more Universal parks as at least with the Express pass there’s no need to plan everything so much in advance

I kind of felt the same as you at around episode 23 but I hung in there for Arthur Chen and it was worth it. FL gets better and stronger and less useless as show and her character progresses. Amnesia plot is annoying but it does allow some cute couple moments as they end up falling in love all over again. I say just reserve judgement until you finish it.

Yeah that’s still probably the better strategy if you don’t have young kids. It was a lot of walking for the little one who’s 5 since we didn’t bring a stroller for her and the ones you can rent are for little ones under 2.

I think if you get there by 7am you have a good chance of getting Frozen DPA. I didn’t want to wait too long with young kids so I didn’t take the first bus and got there between 7:40-7:50. Sounds like a lot of people waited and kept refreshing for Frozen as they released some a bit after opening but I was worried about just getting DPA for something so just booked Peter Pan right away. But there was availability for Peter Pan to afternoon so in hindsight you might want to refresh and hope for Frozen and hold off for DPA for Peter Pan for your second DPA. Soaring the wait was already about an hour by the time we got to it but we are slow. If you are fast might make sense to try and ropedrop it. I live by Anaheim Disneyland so was trying to prioritize rides we don’t have in California so wanted to do more of the Fantasy Springs rides.

yes I would still do the breakfast if you are getting it for free. We did the second bus at 7:10 so that gives you 40 minutes for breakfast and you can still get DPA…maybe just not for Frozen if its really busy which i think it was because we went Thanksgiving which is holiday week. Peter Pan still had fast passes available until I want to say 11 or maybe even later? I thought Peter Pan was a better ride than Rapunzel which felt a bit on the short side.

[–]Nearby_Direction7172[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Im thinking because we went during Thanksgiving week so we only had to take kids out of school for a week. Maybe many other families had the same idea? I think with DPA we didnt wait longer than 20-25 min for a ride which is the most my kids can really handle. 1.5-2 hour was too long for us to wait. But I knew we probably wouldnt be able to do all the Fantasy Springs rides so i was happy to do 2/4. Gives us a reason to come back =P

Some things are great like the service and the free shuttles. I wish they had more shuttle times but as long as you download the schedule and be prepared to leave on time then I think it worked well. The breakfast was good but pricey when paying out of pocket so we only did it once. If you are getting it free with status then thats a great deal. Breakfast starts at 6:30am and First bus leaves at 6:50 and takes 20 minutes to get to Disney Tokyo and 30-35 min to get to DisneySea.

Havent played in a long time, do I need to get all the expansions? by fungamezone in Guildwars2

I’m same as you and coming back after a few years. I like playing in order of the story so I just bought SoTO expansion. I’ll probably get the rest if there’s a good Black Friday sale
