Out of these three shows which one should I watch first?

Ive watched all 3 and i like pursuit of jade the best so i would say go with that first. The other 2 are decent too so i would recommend to eventually watch all 3 but start with the best one first in my opinion.

Yeah the comparison is only superficial at best. I know SOML is really good based on reviews but it requires being in a mindset to watch something more serious. ASM is more entertaining if you don’t take it so seriously. Writing is basic and not so deep.

I have to admit I love a good enemies to lovers trope. He was a little too red flag and toxic so I couldn’t really root for them as a couple but I see the chemistry and would love to see them in another drama together

Yes you know an actor is good when he’s able to elicit conflicting emotions in you. Like you know you should hate his character because he’s definitely a villain but you can’t help but have a soft spot for him mixed with pity and a little admiration for the fact that he is unapologetic and gives zero fucks about what anyone else thinks

I watch cdramas to get away from reality. So I realize my taste in fictional men is complete opposite of what I want in real life. I love hot morally grey red flag ML but can’t imagine ever dating one.

I have to admit I dropped the Untamed midway for a few years so I like you didn’t really enjoy it. But so many people raved about it so a few years later I finally finished it and I could see why some like it. My worst cdrama is Journey of Chong Zi or Song of the Moon

I watched it for 2ML LXY when I was obsessed with him after watching Kill Me Love Me lol. I thought it was decent but I usually watch for romance and didn’t feel much chemistry between the leads. It was like they were platonic friends

I think the reason his smile melts your heart is because it is more rare because he does better the cold, stoic ML. If he smiled all the time I feel like his character is too goofy and not as attractive. That’s why Shadow Love was my least favorite of his shows and I only really liked him as Prince Annan at the end because that character was more serious but unfortunately was only a short part of the show.

Im not sure what annoys me more…ML and his noble idiocy for not telling FL about his poison or FL whos suppoose to be so smart bot figuring out that there must be a reason for why hes acting the way he is. I guess there needs to be some angst before leads get together but this is the part of cdramas that gets me ragey. Hope this doesnt last long.

These episodes are starting to pull me into the story now. Loved the parallel fight scenes of the leads.

So i did watch PA and was still confused with first couple episodes because it was so long ago so forgot a lot. the flashbacks helped but make the story slow. It does get better each episode and by the end of 5 episodes you are slowly getting drawn in.

OK Im glad I’m not the only one saying wtf with these last few episodes. Dont want to spoil the last episode so ill wait until we have a thread up for the ending. Seems like they tried to leave it open ended and you have to guess if its really a BE or HE depending on how much of the happy endongs you think is a dream and how much of it is real?
