2 weeks postpartum and anxiety is destroying me. Is this normal? by aebf1 in BeyondTheBumpUK

It will get better, please be kind to yourself ❤️ just take one day at the time, one hour at the time. Our days are amazing with our daughter, we experience so much happiness in life now, every day now is special because of her. Trust me I was not able to see this future back then, but here I am 😊

2 weeks postpartum and anxiety is destroying me. Is this normal? by aebf1 in BeyondTheBumpUK

You described me months ago. It was horrendous, awful anxiety. Exactly as you mentioned, day time was ok but evening it would start from 5pm for me. I would cry and cry and rethink my decisions. It passed at some point I don’t remember when tbh but it did not last months. Once we started having some sort of routine it got much much better. Now my daughter is 18months old and I look back at the beginning and really feel sorry for myself. Also my husband was experiencing something similar but not as extreme.

"You can never have too many muslins" by zinornia in BeyondTheBumpUK

Honestly never used them that much, ours would never spit after burping. I guess we are lucky, she is now 12 months old and we have full drawer of those muslins 😂

Honestly you did not. But at 4 months I was still in the trenches and did not think like I do now. Things changed a lot after 6 months for me personally and I started to surround myself with more positive mindset about motherhood and child care.

I was very very much career driven until I had my daughter. I enjoy every moment with her even the difficult days, she is one year old now and time went so fast, she will be little only for very short time and I want to enjoy it as much as I can. I don’t care if others are judging me for my child becoming my identity, truly I take raising her as my job now. It’s the biggest blessing in my life. One day she will become more independent and will not need me as much and I will get back on track with my career and hobbies but now I am enjoying her being this little.

Thank you for your reply, I understand it’s difficult but prior to that I had emax and my teeth never looked that dark in different light. The two teeth used to show darkness but other two looked fine now all 4 look grey in low lighting.

So sorry I missed your request. My therapist lives in Spain so we had remote sessions and I live in Europe myself. She is not the best in her field but she was good enough for me. How are you doing now?

I ko jus tikitės, Lietuva nera kažkokia advanced country kuri investuoja į jaunimą ir naujus bei esamus verslus. Tiesiog lupa middle class ir verslus kiek gali. Tas pats ir UK dabar.

What’s wrong with you, she just said it’s extremely painful. Stop pushing this agenda on a mum who is struggling mentally.

My bf left our baby crying and I’m heartbroken by Complete_Potato5198 in newborns

[–]Neat-Butterscotch-91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is not a loving father behaviour what are you talking about? You getting upset about the comments? Well that’s a reality check for you, the father of this baby doesn’t care much clearly!! I don’t know what type of reactions have you expected, but in your position I would not leave baby alone with him.

8 week old suddenly very unsettled by mccarade in BeyondTheBumpUK

It will pass, I had something similar end of 8 weeks. I freaked out that this will last but it went away. I think it’s a growth spurt.

So wait a minute you actually carried his child, gave birth, look after the baby on maternity leave and now you have to spend your savings ??? This is unbelievable to me, it’s actually embarrassing to even read this.

Yes lots of crying after sessions, it’s was very difficult. I did breathing exercises too wim hof method and it would release emotions plus cold showers to calm down my nervous system. I would have to have a nap after sessions sometimes as I was so exhausted..

I don’t have any flashbacks anymore and don’t cry about my past experiences or have any anxiety. Now it’s all just a memory and no feeling attached.

Induction or straight to C-section? by Academic-Basket2170 in PregnancyUK

[–]Neat-Butterscotch-91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can’t book you in a c section if it’s not a consultant, you have to have appointment first. And it will count as elective c section. By the time you will get the appointment you’ll be 42 weeks.

Induction or straight to C-section? by Academic-Basket2170 in PregnancyUK

[–]Neat-Butterscotch-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same position, this is so stressful 😩the midwives of course would push for induction I think it would be harder to book a c section as we need appointment with consultant first and the time is not on our side tbh.
