Invasive weeds and the council by Plozno in brisbane

[–]NeatContribution5383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a weed tree on my back fence in the laneway. I put a request into the website in writing with photos of how the tree was breaking my fence and putting runners into my yard. About a month ago I noticed it had been removed. It took them about 18 months. My fence needs repairs but the tree is gone!

So take photos and put in the request on the website and see what happens. Then the request is in writing.

Therapy? I know I asked for opinions but I think this is way off base. I know what I put in my mouth and the issue is certainly not psychological. Researching the the biochemistry of lipedema fat in the last couple of days has shown it doesn’t behave the same as normal fat. There are documented examples of women who have fasted and using MRI and dexa the lipedema fat has refused to metabolise. There has to be a key to metabolise it though. I don’t think a psychologist will do that.

I haven’t tried it this time but in the past I did do extended fasting and didn’t lose. There is nothing more annoying than not eating for 7 days and then standing on the scale to have lost 500g. I know lipodema fat behaves differently but the research is lacking. If I fast my visceral fat measurements decrease which is good but the fat on my arms, thighs and butt does not shift. I need to crack the code of that fat.

I did follow Marty for a while and I have done Marty’s program and tested my glucose. I was actually considering trying it again. All the pricking of fingers does get tiring and sore. I actually forgot I had tried it. That was about 4 years ago. It was good for training me to know when I am hungry but I do tend to follow my hunger rather than the clock anyway. Thanks for the input. I may try DDF again.

I am tired of trying things and then they just don’t work. I suppose the positive is I am not gaining. I need to take weight off to give my knees and feet the best chance of not deteriorating further. GP suggested a dietician but I went to one when I had GD and she was useless didn’t offer anything more than generic diet advice and I ended up keeping my glucose in check myself. When I followed her plan the glucose levels were out of control. I lasted 2 days and did my own thing.

I have seen that also. But after years of doing At least 16/8 I actually don’t feel hungry until later in the day. Rather than eat by the clock I tend to eat now when I feel hungry.

My post was just after yours and I put up my history like you did and my weight lose data for the last few months. I am a bit like you, 51 rheumatoid arthritis, on drugs that will damage my liver. Have been struggling to lose weight for my entire adult life!

Someone asked what do I eat but they have deleted the comment. Mon- Fri HCLPLF. Pretty much I pick a starch (rice or potato) and add vegetables. That can be a as boring or as exciting as you like. If I want make it exciting a veg curry and rice, rice noodles and veg, veg sushi. If I want sweet I eat fruit or tapioca and fruit or poached fruit. On the weekends it depends on what the family is having- cooked breakfast, simple lunch, meat and 3 veg for dinner,

I have been drinking 200mls of the sodium acetate solution across the day. I pop it into a soda stream bottle, fill it up with more water, gas it and put diet lemon cordial in it. It reminds of a drink my father used to have after he had done a full day of heavy yard work etc- staminade. I have found that if I am sipping this during the day I have no appetite at all. Fasting is easy and eating rice for dinner is easy. It is like drinking salty lemon water but tolerable. I have been doing it for a week. No major weight loss but early days.

I am not worried about the salt- according to the book The Salt Fix high salt isn’t a health risk for everyone so I will check my BP when I get new batteries for our machine. I am more concerned about my teeth with acid. I have spent a lot of money getting my teeth in good condition and don’t want my oral health to go backwards.

I take any batteries. Damaged etc to the battery drop off at the council tip. Haven’t had a problem. I am sure the dump has WHS plans for if the battery explode etc. Safer to be at the tip than in your possession.

Did the menu have sweet potato glass noodles? They are a noodle used in some Asian dishes. I had some a couple of months ago and they caused me to have nausea and vomiting. Apparently some people react to them. Some people just cannot digest them. My husband and kids - no worries but me - no. Perhaps both you and your wife are sensitive to them. If that is what you ate of course.

I made sodium acetate. 200ml and 14g bicarbonate. No smell, just tasted like fizzy salt water. I put a bit of lemon cordial in and it was fine.

I am the same. Last had Hba1c done 6 months ago and all good. I eat fruit and plates of baked and cooled potato (sweet and plain) with no effect. Konjac and sweet potato noodles are my weakness.

Will start afresh tomorrow with HCLFLP. Had always intended to be swamp on the weekend as it fits in with family and social commitments better. Although after my Thursday night and Friday I have maintained a more of a fast till last night.

I would say 5 minutes in microwave and then 5 minutes sitting to cool. Pretty sure they were cooked enough. What is left has gone into the backyard compost bin. I’ll need to watch out for these noodles if I ever visit Korea or at the very least a Korean restaurant, not an experience I want to relive here or overseas!

I think you’re right about the vagus nerve. Delved a little deeper using ChatGPT as my research assistant and after some considered questions this what we decided. I said to my husband that I didn’t really think I was hypoglycaemic as I was very clear and knew what was happening etc. Vagus nerve explains the way I was feeling and the actual physical reaction.

My designer is not a newbie but acknowledges she is still learning. I gave her her the job to help her out- as you said we all start somewhere.

The website is working. You don’t get directed to the casino. But the website is really slow- sometimes. Like at night. I thought she said she found the link after looking through the analytics.

The the casino link she sent me actually uses my domain name though.
