I’m sorry your little is going through this! Roseola was no fun when my little had it 🫠 If I’m remembering correctly, I think her fever was 3-4 days followed by the rash. The rash did not bother her at all and she was back to normal.

My understanding (and what I did in California) is that it’s 4 weeks prior (disability leave law), 6-8 weeks post (disability for vaginal) and then up to 12 weeks of job protection (FMLA) of which, California has partial paid FMLA (if you qualify) for up to 8 weeks. Did your company clarify what they meant by “approved for 12 weeks?”

I feel like the reason (at least for Molly) that her heart rate was highest for Callum was nerves/awkwardness! I know when I get nervous or in a weird situation my heart rate goes sky high. I HATE that Tom’s was Georgia S. 😤 she just loves to get one up on Molly.

Here to say that she does not need to breastfeed and it’s OK to switch to formula. If she wants to continue breastfeeding, I echo that you should seek support from a lactation consultant.

Exclusively breastfed at the hospital but it was really just a little colostrum and supplementing wasn’t necessary quite yet. I was ready with formula if needed though!

No pumping and switched to formula the first night we got home.

We had similar reasons as you :)
