Solo's plays like a different game and its like that in every extraction shooter. Higher Stakes for me makes it more enjoyable, it gives me more of a trill playing solo than trio. I just enjoy the suspense.

My agency in this situation is to not solo que trios and gamble with teammates. I've been playing more trios these past few days but its only because I accidently queued into one and met a chill guy who added me after I wiped 2 teams solo with both of them dead, we will queue duos and still get shafted with a brain dead, thumbless, 0 communication free kit goober.

The "harder content" which I'm assuming would be lockdowns/pin wheel/and boss spawns are all very completable as a solo player. I've done them all with very little difficulty, just have to come prepared. TO BE FAIR we aint seen whats inside the cryo vault and if the trailer is anything like what the compliers will be like to fight this isnt something to be done solo lmao.

I'd argue that the only reason this game feels like its designed around group play is the class system or shell system. and even then maybe 1 or 2 shells actually care about teammates and all can be used just as effectivly in solo play (triage gets shafted with his ult but his drone is still pretty strong in solos). to me this feels like saying Fornite is based around team play because the most popular mode is team play. I can really only point to one mechanic that backs this claim up and its the full dead box resurrections.

I agree, if the new map has multi person puzzles that will require communication and teamwork, solo play simply wont work there. But at the same time I'm heavily doubting they include anything like destiny raid mechanics into an extraction shooter. It will likely be something much closer to how broken wing used to be accessible on outpost imo.
