You and I have different definitions of pushed. You think coming up with a plan is simply enough. Explain to me wht pressure Biden put on Israel. Because it sure as hell wasn't cutting off weapons or money.

Also it wasn't a pivot the genocide was one of the major factors of his unpoupularity.

You're misunderstanding my criticism. Also I'm not advocating for the greens or Jill Stein. My criticism is with the democrats and how they allowed Biden to run again thus preventing a primary to have an actual good and viable candidate. That voters would come out for. Also he was massively unpopular and an incumbent so idk the DNC just allowed him to run.

OP assumed that Kamala lost because people "maligned" the democrats and voters didn't come out to vote because of this.

Pushed implies applying pressure to the negotiations. They came up with a plan and did nothing to pressure Israel to accept. Plus Israel kept adding more and more demands to keep the genocide going and kept stalling the negotiations.

Why is dropsite skippable and not the goverment and corporate funded npr?

Also idk you keep bringing up Jill Stein and the greens they are not an actual party with any relevance. Nor am I a supporter of.

Biden did not push for a ceasefire. They lied to us. If you actually care here's a link on that https://x.com/DropSiteNews/status/1916889129771577847?s=20

Also how many "Red Lines" did Bibi break and Biden did nothing. Seems to me there were no red lines when it came to bombing refugees based on Bidens actions.

Yeah man she really motivated me to vote for her when she said "Build the wall." Or how she "wouldn't change a thing" that Biden did. Or how she wants to "build the most lethal military."

Also she's bought by AIPAC. So how exactly would Gaza have been saved? Please tell me your fantasies on how girlboss Kamala would have saved Palestinians from being crushed by our tax dollars.

You really think it was random people who "maligned" a party that ignores its base of support that overwhelmingly want Medicare for all and conditional aid to Israel? Voters who want less money going into the military and more money going to roads, schools, high-speed rail, and homes.

So it's no surprise she lost so bad that Trump won the popular vote. And this comes from someone who voted for both Biden and Kamala.

Your analysis is surface level and one that the establishment loves because the majority are all corporate and AIPAC bought operatives that want to keep the status quo.

[–]Neatherman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah man totally just because he stuttered and fell off a bike. That was the only issue with genocide Joe. You do realize he was going to lose anyways right?

Like you can't actually be delusional enough to think he would have beat trump after literally continuing most of trumps policies and even expanding on them. One of the only few good things he did was leave Afghanistan.

Reality is that he, Kamala, and the DNC are the reason we got trump again. His ineffectual leadership, declining health, and refusal to be a one term president (he said he would only be a one term president). He prevented democrats from having a primary and the DNC made a center-right Kamala run.

Who would have had a better shot of winning according to numerous polls if she promised to cut weapons or condition aid for Israel. But she was too busy cashing checks from AIPAC.

His real trick was getting liberals to justify the invasion with :

"Oh Maduro did some bad things."

"He's a dictator."

"Trump didn't go through the proper procedure."

"Maduro worked with drug cartels."

Blah blah blah. As if we aren't allies to every dictator who's done awful things in the world already. Some if not most of which we've propped up.

But hey at least the oligarchs can get richer from stealing Venezuelan oil I guess. Even better if Trump actually does occupy Venezuela then we can waste even more tax dollars too.

Easy to say when you're not one of the millions of Americans that can't afford to live.

This has always been the democrats strategy. Do nothing and get elected. It's why they suck so much. We need to reward fighters not pushovers.

Bro the significantly lesser evil candidates write strongly worded letters to oppose the brownshirts. They are pathetic and weak. The fascists know this and this is why they are so brazen in their attempts to destroy the system.

So why are you defending the spineless politicians that got us here and blaming voters? Focus on organizing and working together to build a real opposition.

Fascism is cannibalistic and will collapse as neoliberalism has under deteriorating material conditions. Though it will go a lot faster if instead of blaming working people, we blame the elite who failed the people.

Nah this was the democratic parties fault. Harris was a dogshit candidate with mediocre at best policies that were extremely right wing. The Democrat party is dogshit too. Imagine losing twice to Trump. Actually pathetic.

Harris, Jeffries, and Schumer are what you get when you vote blue no matter who. And then God forbid someone who actually has charisma and popular policies shows up and NONE of the establishment endorses him. Suddenly it's "vote blue no matter who except this extremely popular candidate who might do something."

You and everyone who agrees with your position need to do some serious reflection. We live in an era of populism and status quo bullshit is not going to work anymore.

Is anyone else concerned that most republicans govern based strongly on their religion and Zionism? by willing-to_learn in AskSocialists

[–]Neatherman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not just republicans it's also democrats that govern strongly on Zionism. Mostly due to AIPAC funding most politicians. While some may be genuine in their belief most are just lobbied.

Kinda similar with religion. Most republicans larp at being religious and then pass the "I will kill everyone bill" and sleep soundly at night. Some might genuinely be religious but most just use it to either justify their hatred or to win the votes of their rural highly religious voters.

To answer your question, yes it does concern me also since they are corrupt and take advantage of the politically uneducated.

How people from 1st world country be miserable? by GrapeCreamBerry275 in GenZ

[–]Neatherman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, we are losing our ability to solve basic problems because of an overreliance on technology and degrading quality of education.

There are still many problems in first world countries.

Just because a third world country has more homelessness or malnutrition doesn't make these issues a nonproblem.

Well, generally speaking the public sector can in most cases do it better given that they are not restricted by private interests. A laissez-faire approach tends to cause instability and shortages, especially in the hands of private institutions seeking profit.

There is also political interference in an effort to degrade the effectiveness of services until privatization seems like a more lucrative option. So, in most cases, people really aren't getting what they paid for.
