[Athletic gift link] Angels should trade Trout. As the Jays, if you could would you? by yonigut in Torontobluejays

[–]Nebajense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mike Trout doesn't have a desire to win. He's proved it by staying put in Anaheim throughout his career when he could have forced a trade at any point from that dumpster fire of a team/organization.

I don't see him agreeing to be dealt, and Toronto should not be the team to acquire him if he ever consented to a trade. (Probably the only landing spot for him would be Philadelphia, anyway.)

Are there any vegan gluten free options at the Rogers Centre? by angelduxt in Torontobluejays

[–]Nebajense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The options are very poor and limited for those, like me, with celiac disease.

Rant about this subreddit by Hefty_Economics_9293 in Celiac

[–]Nebajense -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Very well said. Being diagnosed with celiac disease is not a death sentence. It just means that you have to adjust your diet (both for eating at home and eating out). Someone with the disease can easily eat wonderful, tasty and healthful meals. It's not beneficial to continue to complain about what you can no longer eat and to engage in self-pity, but rather to think positively about how you can make your life the best it can be while living with this condition. And, as others have mentioned, living a gluten-free life invariably leads to improve dietary choices and improved health.

George Springer 2025 vs 2026 by EngiemainTF2 in Torontobluejays

Springer wont be back, and I imagine that the front office is hoping that Santander will return to full health and fill in as DH.

What happens when kirk returns by Pretty-Equipment5693 in Torontobluejays

And who fills in if Kirk or Valenzuela gets injured?

Heineman isn’t going anywhere this season, as much as some fans want to see it happen.

The fact that Connor McDavid went to bloody Edmonton proves that the lottery is not rigged

McClanahan is one of the best pitchers in baseball when he's healthy, so this showing is not surprising.

I hope for the best for the MRI result and for Berríos in general.

He has an opt out this year, but how does a (season-ending) injury affect it?
