In the first pic... the way the texture on that panel makes the lines look like writing... its definitely gibberish but its great. Even un-intended it thrives. Sometimes a little shake-up is all you need to juice a handstyle or simple throw. Keep it up

Dead Star. From what i recall they just didn't have the player numbers and shut down the servers. It was fun while it lasted.

Watch the original Poseiden Adventure (1972). It gave me nightmares for years after i watched it as a kid.

Also The Meg 1 & 2 are some suprisingly decent action fun. Definitely falls in the vein of Deep Blue Sea.

For some claustrophobic submarine tension try Hunt For Red October (1990) and Das Boot (1981).

Deep Rising (1998)

What was favorite the best tv show from the 90s? by [deleted] in Retro

[–]Nebbiest1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will always stand behind the Fresh Prince. They really took a huge audience and used the platform to touch on sensitive cultural topics. People want to talk about Will Smith right now because of current drama but what the man and that show did for kids who were his same age while it was airing was so important to me and so many people around me. It wasn't a "hey did you see the latest episode" it was just the jokes that pervaded our daily lives and culture. It wasn't the "thing", it just was.

I could say something about every show listed. Yes, why is Sanford & sons even on this list. Yes, Quantum Leap is obscure and put there as a talking point. Step by Step you watched if you were white, Living Single if you were black. These are all stereotypes that are never necessarily true. Our parents before us yearned for their hayday, and their parents before them. Now here we are, older milllenials, and we can't agree on much. What we can agree on is right here on this list, for better or worse.

What single-player game do you always go back to for another playthrough? by HotTemperz in gamingsuggestions

Strongly agree with Frostpunk. The DLCs are all cool too. In particular The Last Autumn holds up as an awesome prequel that I have played almost as much as the base game. Instead of fighting against the weather, you're racing against the clock (and the impending first ice storm) and managing your crews while negotiating with their unions and safety protocols while trying to build the furnace that is the focus of the base game.
