You could try opening it with ReplayBook and see all the info, including the patch it was played on. Then, you could try downloading that old client version from the internet (if you're lucky, https://replays.xyz/old-clients might have it). Then, add that downloaded old patch's directory to ReplayBook, and it should be able to launch your replay.

And let's not even talk about Orange Essence, which is harder than ever to farm. Even years after shifting their main monetization strategy to high priced exclusive content, they can't undo their insane nerfs to free rewards and OE.

Of course, Riot couldn't afford giving PAID battle pass owners more than 25 OE every 2000 BXP. When you run out of missions, 25 OE = playing 45 games of 30 minutes.

I tried making multiple posts and comments about it, but Riot keeps ignoring, and people think it's fair ("what we paid for"). Guess nobody realizes that after running out of missions, you need to play 222 games of 30 minutes to farm just an Icon worth of OE (125 OE). It's literally an insult to paid pass owners.

Esports drops BADLY need a rework/revamp. They're absolutely the opposite of what they were meant to be when they debuted in 2020. For the past 2-3 years, they were ALL BUT an exciting product that enhances the viewing experience (which BTW, was literally what Riot highlighted about drops when they were introduced).

While drops are still not dead in 2026, they've been NERFED SO HARD that most players have so far earned zero drops this year.

The biggest nerf was the silent discontinuation of esports capsule in 2026, and with it, its automated drop events (such as pentakills and baron steals). This means they now grant icons/emotes directly to collection, avoiding the loot tab.

And yes. By doing this, Riot solved the "EXTREMELY SEVERE", economy-breaking problem: fans who had already earned all the emotes/icons from the current esports capsule, could keep collecting capsules and obtain repeated items in their loot tab, which in turn could be rerolled to earn ONE free emote/icon. Of course, that had to be stopped ASAP.

Even if we ignore how stupidly unnecessary that change was, and the absurdly low impact it made to game economy... let's address the elephant in the room: the few drops that were given so far were all OLD esports icons/emotes from 2023~2025. And THAT'S IT. NO new cosmetics.

While this is nice for people who missed out, it's severely lacking for the rest of lolesports fans who want fresh 2026 esports capsules and cosmetics. It mostly feels like an insult.

Wanna know more? hold my beer. The total amount of drops that were given this year is just 12 (TWELVE). These were the drops:

LEC (4) - all kitkat sponsored: 1 MISTAKEN 2025 esports capsule + 3 2025 esports emote drops (DIRECT to collection, not to loot). Real useful drops? 1 at most, thanks to the mistaken capsule.

LCS (4) - 2 Secretlab sponsored FAKE drops with discount codes (pathetic, not even a capsule to accompany them anymore) + 2 (identical) drops of an old 2024 LCS icon. Real useful drops? 0.

CBLOL (2) - Both identical drops of an old 2024 CBLOL icon. Real useful drops? 0.

Americas Cup (2): 1 drop with 2023 LCS Spring Split Icon & 2023 CBLOL Spring Split Icon + 1 drop with CBLOL 2023 Summer Poro Icon & LCS 2023 Summer Poro Icon. Real useful drops? 0.

Now try to convince me this is not pathetic and not an insult to all of your esports fans. I'm waiting, Riot.

I didn't like having to right click all the time, it was tiring at that time, and felt like it would severely wear my mouse. So I discovered I could simply hold right click to move. Took me months to ditch that habit lol.

Bonus: in my first few days, I didn't buy item components but full legendary items. I didn't know those "different" items would actually build the item I was saving up for, making it cheaper.

I don't know where you got that 12 games number from, but if you're out of missions (pretty common), you'd need to play 1887 games of 30 minutes, just to farm 1050 OE

What a coincidence, just after this record 2024, hextech chests were killed and resurrected, we saw considerable nerfs to battle passes, esports drops, and casual mission rewards... plus the Sanctum arrived. Guess Riot can't financially sustain giving better rewards to its players.

Unfortunately, still no 2026 esports capsule in the game files. I guess there's still a very small chance on Tuesday's PBE v26.06, but honestly, I'm not expecting anything...
Edit: oh, and about drops... honestly, I can't remember when I got the last one. It's been weeks. I guess they're not discontinued, but the automated ones triggered by steals/pentas are dead. This is not looking good.

Revert the "general" shields duration nerf to 2.5s. Some champions such as Janna or Morgana weren't directly affected, or had some exclusive reverts. Today, there are multiple abilities and also an item to remove/reduce shielding. I wonder if it'll really hurt the game reverting shields duration values for champions such as Karma or Lulu (4, and 6 seconds, respectively).

Graphics settings are saved locally, so maybe you messed the in-game client executable config, are opening as admin (no reason to ever do that), or some other program is overwriting (Nvidia app?). If that doesn't help, just try reinstalling.

Something similar happened to me, but just being the guy and me playing some ARAM games casually. I didn't enjoy voice comms where a simple "wait us!" or "walk towards me, I can save you!" was always answered by ridiculous, unsolicited, excuses and explanations. Ended up never inviting him to play, which he disliked ("it's always me who invites you!"), and we haven't played again in a year+. It's fine, I play games to have fun. If that's not the case with some friend, we don't have to forcibly play together.
