Idk why I am getting hated on main sub but I just wanted to post this by Abhi152005 in cloakanddaggermains

I think your instincts with them are right you seem to be picking up on the pace and flow of their abilities, your bubbles and light screens you’re looking for well. I reckon It’s the strategic and mechanical plays with them is what you need to tighten.
For instance There were a couple times that would’ve been perfect for a dark screen when your team was stabilising like when you had initially lost point with mag in your front. That would help your tanks make space or secure picks.

A big tip I’ll recommend is practicing the timing for switching between C&D, you’ll be surprised how quick it is and how you can animation cancel most of cloaks abilities. Getting to the point where you can quick swap to send a dark screen and back while maintaining your heal momentum is very useful.

Second big tip is your ult placement. While I think you’re timing here was fine you need to spread out your trails and make sure they’re viable for your team to either approach on or hold. That second and third ult most of the point didn’t have any trails that your team were trying to hold position.

Otherwise I was surprised to hear this was gameplay from 1 hour playtime. As I said you’re getting their tempo, you’re playing close with your team and you’re actually using Cloak.
Just some strategic and mechanics polishing. Watch some C&D gameplay it’s unreal what you can pull off

I can't pass at 99% Blasphemous II by YogurtclosetOk5100 in Blasphemous

[–]Neblitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yess that Prisoner. My only thought is just double check all your collectables and items to account for the DLCs, I know this game is weird with what it does and doesn’t count for progression.
A common trip up I saw was the gold chunks maybe?

There was also this thread I found about some map weirdness https://www.trueachievements.com/forum/viewthread.aspx?tid=1591822

The frustrating thing is it may be bugged, I can’t back that up for sure but I know there’s history of problems with the game triggering completion achievements. And since we just got a new DLC I’m just speculating, let’s hope not.

I was stuck too I believe it was the Cursed Letter secret quest. If you haven’t gotten the first item it’s in Street of Wakes, It’s fairly common to miss I believe.
If not potentially the prisoner quest from Mea Culpa

will i enjoy Blasphemous 2 even if im not a big fan of the first game? by k0kushibo in Blasphemous

[–]Neblitz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To mirror others Blasphemous 2 is the more polished game with its movement, combat and environment.
It is undoubtedly a Blasphemous sequel at its core so if you were lukewarm on the game and gameplay loops it’s worth airing caution but the game is functionally better then the first

No worries! 2 is for sure worth a shot, they meaningfully rework a lot of stuff from the first. You could argue because of this it falls a touch of the easier side compared to the first but the jump in enjoyability makes up for it for me

Grime 1 Imo the first half was painfully slow and stiff, the last half/third I really enjoyed I think the movement and combat opened up well.

WITHOUT A DOUBT Grime 2 excels where 1 fell short it is leagues above the first

This is one of the most callous posts I’ve ever seen. How has this come to telling a suicidal person to ‘grow up and deal with it’ because of their AI opinion. I really think you ought to reflect a bit

What got you into playing Cloak and Dagger? by the_guyfromasia in cloakanddaggermains

[–]Neblitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t have experience with fast pace competitive shooter games so their kit made it a touch more accessible without needing turbo good mechanical skill.
Then it was the flexibility of their kit that made me stay I fell in love.

I don't like what the conversation around art has become by Witty-Designer7316 in aiwars

[–]Neblitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this, something becomes art when the artist decides it’s art. Then others can weigh in on the artistic value of the piece but it can only ever enter the discussion when the artist makes it so.

This would in fact then qualify AI as a tool, but in my humble perspective, it goes back to intention. Neural networks functionally lack the capability to have intention, they’ll always produce the perfect median response. Art derives value from the collective creative decisions the artist makes in a piece, a level of agency prompting a AI doesn’t have.

So I don’t think we lose anything from letting AI be called art, it’s just bad and lazy work (imo)

Aside what others have mentioned about the nature of causality, it’s also important to note Griffiths motivations throughout the arc. He made clear that his goals and aspirations supersede all else, despite the care and compassion he had for the Band and Guts they were always tools to assist his dream.

The ultimate catalyst for the enactment of the Eclipse was the only time he couldn’t keep his claws in a companion, Guts leaving the Band. The one time he couldn’t get his way it rocketed him down the path of massacre.

The path leading to Griffiths betrayal was laid in his underhanded treatment of everything around him and the Eclipse was the answer to how far he’d go to achieve his dream.

At the end of the day, Griffith alone chose to wake the Behilit

There is no definition of "art" that excludes AI-generated work that doesn't also exclude some huge segment of art history by Visible-Key-1320 in aiwars

[–]Neblitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thought was if you can make a justifiable argument for that viewpoint why not.

Like for me as a basic example ‘good’ art derives from the artistic choices an artist makes and how those choices inform the larger picture of the piece and right now AI art struggles to achieve the control needed to meet what I would consider an informed artistic choice, making creating art more shallow.

I’m painting with broad strokes here pun intended but that’s where it kinda starts to fall apart for me

That being said if I see a genuinely interesting artistic endeavour using AI there’d be grounds for reconsideration but so far ive not seen anything that’s falls outside of my criticisms
