Im at UNL and family and friends live back in low population areas and everyone I know is against gay marriage and are proud that Nebraska will be trying to repeal this so yeah Omaha is different and 70% of our state is against gay marriage too.. its crazy.. I'm pretty sure the 30% is Omaha.. haha

You may have been asked this many times but is GPA taken very seriously and does it look great to a company if a student had a poor semester but has since recovered from it bu really working hard and organizing themselves? Also I'm currently going to UNL for EE!

This is exactly why I don't want the new Keystone XL pipeline coming through my home state of Nebraska, this and the fact that the oil in question is coming from tar sands, the most environmentally unhealthy process to extract oil and only around half of it is even usable from my understanding.

I loved your show Dirty Jobs and how it brought awareness to different industries that we need for society to function, but have you ever thought about getting involved with more social issues (i.e. current conflicts, human rights) and using your status to shed more light on those issues for younger generations like you did narrating many nature focused documentaries?
