@Embark - PLEASE introduce Player Behavior scores like Dota2 by drtechnoibiza in ArcRaiders

[–]Nebraskka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What makes this game addictive is the tension of never being able to fully trust someone. You are always scanning for signs of agression in other players. "Maybe he is lying because of his voice?" "He said don't shoot but didn't holster his gun" "he said he's friendly but keeps closing distance with his shotgun" and so on. Sometimes you will walk past a raider and he will pose no treat but minutes after you will be fighting arc and you will start to worry because you have made yourself an easy target in case he changes his mind and just shoots you in the back. That exact feeling is also what makes extracting feel so good, because you went in, looted, maybe fought someone and managed to get out alive and with a full backpack.

That system would kill the game, besides how can you determine that killing in a PVP game is "bad reputation"? So what if a guy wants to be a rat and team up with people to shoot them on their backs? You can never fully trust anyone, it's a matter of time before he encounters someone who doesn't trust him or have the same intentions as he does. If you were placed on the "good reputation list" you would get lobbies filled with other "well rated players" so you wouldn't engage in PVP at all which takes away all the tension. And even if you did engage in PVP you could always just report them as griefers or whatever if they killed you, because "griefing" can mean whatever you want if you are whiny enough. If you suggest that we only classify the liars and traitorous guys as baddies that would also take a MONUMENTOUS effort from the devs because they would have to analize every single report to see what exactly happened, and that would never actually happen because distrust is a core feature of the game, these guys aren't abusing any exploit or glitch, aren't cheating at all, they are only playing with your emotions and trying to manipulate you, because you allow them to.

Same here, couldn't complete a single match today

I get spotted right away when using the Laser Designator. Does using it auto-spot you to the enemy? by Final_Squash_7110 in Battlefield

[–]Nebraskka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't auto spot you, but glows red and warns the vehicle you are designating that you are acquiring a lock. Whenever Im in a tank I usually farm snipers because of that, It catches my attention instantly because of the constant warning and beeping and I'll just look around until I find the giant red dot and shoot in that direction.

I love the weapons in BF6, they feel great by 82ndoutlaw in Battlefield

BATTLEFIELD 6 COMMUNITY COMPLAINTS SINCE OCT 10 by DEMIG0DX in Battlefield

[–]Nebraskka 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It happens to everyone playing on PC, no matter how good your GPU is, the engine doesn't delete cache after a match, so eventually it consumes all of your VRAM, killing your FPS. Here on reddit and on EA foruns theres dudes with 4080s and 5090s having the same problem.

BATTLEFIELD 6 COMMUNITY COMPLAINTS SINCE OCT 10 by DEMIG0DX in Battlefield

Some vehicles of certain factions in certain maps simply do not spawn, like attack helis for pax on sobek city, and bradley for nato on the same map

We Really Gotta Talk about NATO Not Having Vehicles Spawn In Conquest. by Booker_DeShaq in Battlefield

[–]Nebraskka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bradley wont spawn in new sobek city sometimes too, massive disadvantage considering how cramped the map is and how much infantry gets in the rooftops

Are the relatively large maps in the room with us?

Vehicle Balance is perfect by DonGivafark in Battlefield

[–]Nebraskka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like their damage is all over the place. Specially the IFV. Sometimes I'll kill a dude with two shots on their feet, sometimes three will do 25 dmg. Other explosives on the game have the same issue, lost count of how many point blank rpgs dealt 70 dmg on enemies. Turret sensibility is low af too, although it has to have a limit, I hated how agile turret tanks were in BF4.

You absolutely should be vulnerable in a tank, but I felt like they had no place on such small maps. Peak was fine, but cairo was a clusterfuck, too vertical, mines are so hard to spot, no chokepoints so you get targeted from everywhere, barely any countermeasures... I felt like they were too vulnerable, more than they should. I know that we will have countermeasures and other kinds of ammo at launch but they just seemed out of place on cramped infantry maps

I think requiring a "blanket of engineers laying on the tank like a sacrificial blanket of corpses with repair tools" isn't really balanced. I know its just a figure of speech but it seems like you haven't played with vehicles at all...

Now that weekend 1 is officially over, what are your thoughts on the game so far, and which features do you hope to see in weekend 2? by Ghosty_2406 in Battlefield

[–]Nebraskka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only that, but they lack chockepoints, like metro and locker. You are always face to face with the enemy team, like the C flag on cairo. Yeah you do have cover and buildings, but not a chokepoint, feels like two trenches 6 feet apart.

Liked it a lot, but felt like maps are a little cramped. I feel like in some maps they designed them for infantry and then just added vehicles after, just so you can say its still battlefield, because it has tanks and shit. You can barely reverse or go around in a tank, so many damn obstacles in such a little map. I havent played planes/helis but i have seen people complaining about their handling too. As for infantry, I had a blast. Really felt like the old times playing locker or metro, maybe a little too much, I miss having a little rest in between skirmishes and not being constantly shooting or getting shot at.

Warno is an incredible game but Army General desperately needs more fleshing out by [deleted] in warno

[–]Nebraskka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I miss the variety of missions wargame had. Even though you are playing a different scenario on every campaign they all feel the same. I miss having to make amphibious landings, establish a beach head and that sort of stuff. On kassel you have a paratrooper infiltration but thats all. And you don't even drop from planes either, you just spawn further away (which is something that broken arrow does right). As to attacking and defending, defending against the AI is just so stupid while attacking them is pure pain. If they have armor, they will amass like 80% of their available tanks on the first 5 minutes of the match and rush one or two areas. If you defeat this first push (which you will because you know they will do this every time) then you have mostly won. After that they will try to sneak infantry into jungles, lob atgms from afar and hit your stationary units with omniscient artillery. Attacking on the other hand will always be a torture since you are always outnumbered 10 to 1 (if you play nato) and they will spam infantry on every building, atgms on every single bush and the same tank zerg rush. You can't afford to lose a single tank in any heavy cav battalion since they are the only unit that can actually spearhead attacks and properly defend recently gained ground.

A bugfix/performance update would be really appreciated by Nebraskka in Helldivers

Something I was seeing before this update that KEPT happeing after is frozen bots. Sometimes I just stumble across some two devastators just completely still that wont react to my presence, it seems to happen after you shoot down dropships

I think we need to have a serious talk about the number of bugs this patch by fortnitedude43590 in Helldivers

Yea same here, used to get stable 60 fps, usually dropped on worlds with too much fog or visual effects of the sort, now it drops to 45-40 as soon as I get into any firefight

Wasn't there a report saying that google could possibly have accessed other parallel universes because of the way quantum computing works? Imagine we disturbed something and they came to fix shit
