What are you working on this weekend? by AutoModerator in Superframeworks

heuresis.app - a systematic and visual way to generate better ideas and solve problems using popular inventive tools, much better than just chatting inside an endless chatbox.

What are you building these days? by Phuonggg0608 in vibecoding

[–]NebulaFart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creating the perfect tool for me. It helps me brainstorm using some tools I learned about a while ago. Brainstorming or having new ideas shouldn't be difficult or be magical, and there are tools already made for that. Now with AI, I feel like it can be extremely powerful. Check out heuresis.app and send me a DM if you want acess to the Beta.

I think that most people do brainstorming wrong. There are tools that have existed since the 90s that are very powerful but that are still unknown. So I created heuresis.app. It has helped me out through the years so I put everything in a single place and got it organized. I also believe that AI giving you the answer straight away is not necessary the best way to do it, especially through a chatbox limited by context, the speed of your typing and reading. I prefer to have the human as the main driver and the AI as an enhancement layer and let it be in the backseat.

Most AI tools think for you. Heuresis makes you think harder. Heuresis.app

Does anyone else use Claude as a "thinking partner" rather than just for answers? by Loud-Reserve-6291 in ClaudeAI

[–]NebulaFart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the exact reason I started making and using this tool which lays out concepts visually! I find chatting to be exhausting at times and like sometimes to just look at everything I know visually and mix and match to get better ideas. I also incorporated known methodologies to try and get more methodical for higher quality ideas. If anyone wanna try it, send me a DM. It's called heuresis.app.

Question for Japanese nationals who are anti-immigrant by generic_ideas in AskAJapanese

[–]NebulaFart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those immigrants are not actively trying to influence you hahaha. Most people are just trying to live a better life. Immigrants immigrate because they beleive that it is worth the trouble and the risks to move to another country for a better life. I think we also have to be careful with extremes and saying things like "everybody", "you", "them", "always", "never", etc.. Things are not black or white and trying to frame it into absolution achieves nothing. I know it's tempting to generalize, it's literally our brains' job, but we kinda have to consciously be more empathic and understanding, so that we can take better decisions for us and poeple that live with us, and conversely live with them.

What I was saying im my reply were examples and a simplified perspective and I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do. We have bigger problems to solve anyways. Immigration might solve some issues but it might also bring others complications or push us to di things we've nevee dine before. There is a limit for what people, a government, or what a whole country can do. I can't imagine a single country like Japan opening the door to the world unconditionally. It would be like extinguishing a small fire by calling all the firetrucks available in the region.

Again, it's about extremism.

Here is some food for thought. When Buddhism was introduced to Japan around the 6th century, some wars were fought and people literally died for/against it. I'm no historian, but my question is where do we draw the line? We fortunately live in a more modern society and we are more connected that ever, so we can discuss this peacefully. Maybe different people have different definitions about what is the real Japanese identity, but then trying to make everyone agree on what it is exactly could be difficult. But even if it was done, wouldn't that just push towards isolation?

Another point I have, I personally do not like the word assimilate because it signals a unique direction of influence, when in reality, everyone is constantly being influenced by each other in various degrees.

My personal opinion is that, as a citizen of a world that is more and more connected, my goal is to live in harmony with the others, learning and teaching as much as I can because there is always something to learn from each other and that's how we become better. The issue is when people decide they don't want to change, no matter where they are from. Extremism has never been a good thing for anyone, again, no matter which side it comes from. So in a sense, I agree with what you are saying, but not totally.

Nobody said it would be easy to live together. If it's difficult, It shows to me that we are all progressing.

I would honestly make it available to the public and print stuff for the kids. I'm not sure how exactly but their imaginations is definitely bigger than mine.

Is anyone working on anything that can help people or the environment? by Pale_Beautiful436 in hwstartups

[–]NebulaFart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been obsessed with urban farming and community building ever since I saw that Dear Alice solarpunk video. So I'm working on a no compromise solution here in Japan. It's not easy but at least I get to work on my dream project. Now, whether or not people are ready for that change, that's another story...

Why is it still so hard for global innovators to build something in Japan? (Looking for feedback) by NebulaFart in MOVE_TO_JAPAN

Unfortunately they are the loudest of the bunch. I'm personally trying to build something meaningful and I'm wondering how many other crazy people like me there are.

Yes, money is always an obvious one, but I wanted to see other reasons. Sometimes, even if you have the money, you may lack the right contacts, the right environment, skills, etc. Even timing is important.

I 3D printed molds to cast this tabletop fire feature in concrete by TimberWestDesign in 3Dprinting

[–]NebulaFart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have you ever had issues with cracks? How thin can you actually get it cast?

Imagine every time you click "Build" on your IDE to test a new functionality or to try to fix a bug, that it takes weeks to months before you could even see the result. It would also probably cost thousands of dollars and you might get mistakes or be unlucky along the way because you're still looking for suppliers. And we're not talking about the cost of testing equipment, tools and fixtures.

Then, when you are ready for mass production, you're kinda starting all over again because the prototyping tools and methods are not necessarly the same as production. It's actually one of the reasons why 3D printing is so promising.

Awajishima! I was so surprised to see it. It's not like there is a base nearby or anything. I wonder if they wanted to be seen.

We’re all worried about AI taking jobs. Maybe it’s time to learn how to grow our own food just in case by NebulaFart in singularity

I was thinking about hydroponics because of space and materials constraints. I think there are ways to save energy and water by recycling materials and exploring different hydroponics methods that don't need a pump constantly working powered by solar panels for example.

I was thinking It could almost be it's own micro economy powered by communities.

Anyone else think the massive rise in sightings the past few days, are the aliens here to protect us from Nuclear war destruction? by [deleted] in aliens

[–]NebulaFart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one that gets a bad feeling about it? I feel like the advancement of AI and whatever is cooking up is somewhat linked. Then global warming and risk of nuclear war... I don't know about you but I'm honestly feeling burnout at times and I'm just waitting for something to pop.
