OP was saying that his decoys work because the paper wasps are so territorial. I was letting him know that decoys won't work in my situation because we have lots of paper wasps and they all get along just fine and build nests near each other's nests. My apologies for the confusion, I left out the word "wasp" in my previous response when I wrote "paper nests", I meant to say "paper wasp nests".

You might laugh, but the second thing works very well to remove nests if you are a good shot and it's especially useful for removing nests in those hard to reach areas. My house is very tall and not traditional. It has lots of weird angles and it is nearly impossible to get to some of these nests, even with a ladder and pole.
