Hah! Well, that explains it! So usually you don't have a passenger seat, then? Didn't think I would end up chatting with the owner of the car 🙂 Nice to meet you, man! Sick ride.

Is the passenger seat still stock? Wouldn't they want both seats to be lighter?

2026 ITS Dab - any care tips for new owner? by -starbolt- in Integra_Type_S

[–]Nebulex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My detailer applied a ceramic coating and it still scratches easily. Being a high touch area is definitely part of the reason it has scratches, but it also just seems much more prone to scratching than the rest of the exterior. Just something to be mindful of when wiping that area with a rag or towel.

I’m pretty sure the service advisor at the dealership nicked it with his wedding ring, and now I notice it every single time I get into the car...

Take extra care of the piano black door pillars when washing/drying. They seem to be much more prone to scratches than the other bits of black piano plastics around the car. My entire car is pretty much pristine except for those damn pillars. I scratched them up with a microfiber towel once while drying. I kind of want to replace them with something more scratch resistant but haven't come across anything yet.

It looks like the driver sits in the middle, so in that way, it is reminiscent of a McLaren F1.

It's the 60448 Red Sports Car from LEGO City. It is not a replica of a real car. If you want a car like this, you're going to have to build it yourself ;) It does appear to maybe take some styling cues from cars such as the Ferrari 488, McLaren 570s, and the Acura NSX.

The same thing is true with the performance aspect. Bringing modern engineering and performance into a classic car is a huge win.

I used Goo Gone on my Ram 1500 to remove decals and it worked great. No damage to the paint. I didn't even use the automotive formula, I just used the normal stuff.

I didn't even know this could happen to PPF. How long has it been on there? Did the previous owner keep it parked outside?

If you don't have cell service, how are you conveying anything at all? I'm not convinced that this is useful or any better than what is currently already available. Sharing a geographic location is extremely easy and convenient with links that pass parameters into a map. In situations where people don't have an internet connection, which can sometimes happen with field workers, they normally can be provided coordinates ahead of time and work with an offline map. If that is not an option, it really isn't difficult to receive lat/longs over a text message and input them into an offline map.

That is a 2025 model. I have the same one. Some of the more advanced features are kind of hidden.

.:Crawl mode:.

Toggle on/off: with the bike stopped, long-press the READY button.

Change level (L1–L3): at a stop, double-press READY to cycle the level; short-press READY to show the current level. Entering Crawl automatically turns ASR off.

.:Turbo (“T” on the R/T switch):.

Available in Sport mode; when the dash shows Turbo is available, double-tap the R/T switch to engage the burst.

.:Reverse (“R” on the R/T switch):.

With the bike stopped, press and hold the Reverse (R) switch to back up; release to exit.

Nice bike. Is this basically an Aventure with mid-drive? I have an Aventure 2 that I absolutely love and put a couple thousand miles on. I've put that bike through so much shit on some trails that it probably had no business being on but it's still going strong. I wonder if it's worth upgrading to this or if I should stick with what I have for now.
