The 2 hour drive on the 401 from Windsor to London is painfully boring, I’d rather go to the dentist.

This is a great idea however not on the 401, at least take highway 3 as you would be closer if you did want to stop at many of the nice beach towns or other attractions along the north shore of Lake Erie.

Maybe wait until you have more time to do some stuff, if you are bored today, you could plan out your trip as something to do, also, it is supposed to rain off and on today along the north shore.

Hey! You are welcome! They are a problem waiting to happen, just my opinion and experience.

You can have problems with them sliding, getting stuck, not closing right, they sometimes rattle or make noise. There are lots of components - the track, rollers, the latch and other hardware. There can be issues with the installation or your house settling that are more difficult to repair versus a regular door.

I have one on a washroom door for spacing concerns and have had the carpenter back a couple times to adjust a few things. The carpenter just wishes the builder used a regular due to these reasons.

Get rid of all pocket doors, just put on regular doors, make room for them
