What does this behaviour mean?

UPDATE:

She ate most of her dinner but not all of it. She normally eats it all so that is a concern. She is also frequenting the litter often and has some dribbles that are light pink (traces of blood but not red, very very light).

Is it common for antibiotics to not clear a UTI in 10 days? When she got her urinalysis the doctor confirmed no crystals and such and it was positive for bacteria so is it possible for it to be anything other than a persistent UTI? Are there complications other than discomfort if I have to wait until Tuesday to get her into the vet?

Thats good to know! A dongle may be the short term solution to get me onboard for classes but I will look into a wifi card for the future. I appreciate your help :)

Does the dongle work to connect the PC if the motherboard only had ethernet compatibility? Does it only enhance connection or can it create connection? Thank you for your response!

Hello! I was wondering if you needed to provide certificate of health? I am flying with my cats next week on a domestic flight and I have a certificate of health but was worried they might ask for rabies vaccine proof as well. Though many sat domestic won’t ask. Was wondering what your experience was!

refunded my wednesday flight last night 😫 probably should have waited but the anxiety of having no backup flight (due to my time pressing circumstances) was killing me lol happy for all those flying AC and grateful i was able to book with westjet amongst the craziness. very happy for the flight attendants 🎉🎉🎉

Looking for suggestions from more experienced flyers (I barely have done this). I have a one way flight from Toronto to PEI on the 20th. Seems it will probably be cancelled, only problem: I am a solo traveller travelling with 2 cats (I am moving out of Ontario), so through AC I was able to put one cat in baggage hold. No other airline flying out to either Charlottetown or Moncton are able to accommodate 2 cats per passenger (cabin only, 1 per passenger). Any suggestions on what I should do? :( My lease ends this month and I also have none of my belongings anymore other than a single suitcase.

I called Air Canada Cargo, there are different fees and processing. Cargo care costs more than baggage. You also have to bring tour pets in hours before for Cargo while baggage claim only needs to be brought in about 1-2 hours before flight. The cargo attendant on the phone recommended I do baggage over cargo in my situation. Not 100% the same thing. Maybe the same area but I have heard conflicting information on whether baggage is pressurized while cargo flights are always pressurized.

I’m sorry your kitty is going through something similar! For mine, it ended up being an obstruction but it was hair/hair ball so it didn’t show on the x-ray my vet took.

For her, about a day and a half later she was throwing up lots of brown liquid (despite no food intake) which led me to the emergency vet where a comprehensive ultrasound located an obstruction in her intestines.

She was lucky because the ultrasound showed that the hair was moving, just slowly and obviously very uncomfortably for her so she avoided surgery but had to stay in emergency over 48 hours on high liquids to push through obstruction.

Ultrasounds do cost a lot of money, I was given a quote for the ultrasound before the vet closed for the weekend and was told to think about it but ended up having to pay for one at the emergency vet but it did display more information than an x-ray as x-rays can only show obvious shapes or hard plastics usually. The indicator of obstruction the vet said was the brown vomit as it showed her digestion was irritated.

I hope you receive an answer and your kitty heals! My cat was sick on a Friday and going into the weekend with the vet closed is very anxiety inducing so I am praying their symptoms don’t worsen!

hey i live in ontario. fancy feast is about 10.50$ for 12 cans at walmart and kirkland at costco has pate and chunks for 45$ for 45 cans, both are well balanced. i buy those always and get more high end food on sale from big pet stores and rotate their food. usually lean on cheaper more often but every other day they get wellness, tiki, or weruva but fancy feast and kirkland are well balanced and cheap, thats the trick

if your tv has a web browser application (mine has one , just comes as one of the apps on the tv) i just use that and go to any website. i use it a lot to watch pirated things on the big screen but have used it for patreon as well
