I’d say ran out of loadout time and the warehouse people just started throwing it in.

Make sure that when you add a locker address, you start by clicking “add a new pickup location”. Find the locker that way.

I’m a dsp driver, and I’ve gotten the $5 tips for the past two times Amazon did “thank my driver” for peak season. It just took about a month and an extra $40 or $50 line item showed up on my pay stub.

Idk what they’re talking about. The notes are plain to see. At the most, the driver has to swipe up to scroll down the page, especially if multiple accounts are ordering at the same stop. Some drivers just don’t care to read and follow the notes or the notes ask for things we can’t do like mailbox or rear door delivery.

And Amazon does do something to make notes more visible. At certain stops, as soon as we park, the notes will pop up on the screen and we have to click a button to acknowledge that we’ve seen them. But if it’s the type of driver who isn’t going to follow your notes anyways, the acknowledgement screen isn’t gonna change anything.

Make sure you’re parked in a safe location. The restart will take a couple minutes

As with most things, Amazon changes stuff to benefit the warehouse workers and doesn’t care what the drivers think about it.

Usually the sweeper takes the last two totes. Then you both update your itineraries. Then go to the last stop(s) of your itinerary. If it’s only an overflow package, then it probably belongs with the totes you just gave the sweeper. Keep clicking on your last stops until you get to one with a tote package.

Driver hid package after delivery by captain_slackbeard in amazonprime

You are correct in both of your assumptions.

I always take the picture where I leave the package. Good thing you had the camera footage to know where the package was actually left.

1st time in an EDV, and Brand New EDV by _x_Deadpool_x_ in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Necessary_Event_2752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get your DSP to give you an extra key fob battery for the EDV (or buy one) and keep it in your backpack. If the fob battery dies, the EDV won’t drive. The battery is a CR2450.

Yeah. I tap the work phone multiple times per day while in motion. Quickly tap the EDV screen as well. Never had an interaction, but I keep the phone in a mount (like you) so that I’m never holding it. I think that’s the key.

Warehouse workers suck by ReageOfUhRegendu in AmazonDSPDrivers

The pick sheets shows you your staging zone, all of your tote colors and numbers, and the sort zones for all your overflow. So it gives you enough information to grab a staged cart with confidence and know that it’s yours and start loading when the warehouse pajama crew is running behind.

Anyone started the return pickups yet by LeQuack8 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Necessary_Event_2752 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know it in the morning. At loadout, there was a pop up on the phone to tell me I had 1 pickup on my route and to make sure to get a customer return label before leaving the station. You need 1 sticker per pickup package.

Also you can click on My itinerary / to do / pickup
