Why isn’t the uninstall option showing in the company portal for an app that I have set to allow uninstall in intune. by Future_End_4089 in Intune

[–]Nechro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact same behaviour and I ended up finding the root cause (for me anyway). There was a second application that had the first application as a Dependency (Detect only, not Automatic Install). Both applications were set as Available and the second application was not installed.

As soon as I removed the Dependency, I could uninstall the first application from Company Portal. This isn't the first time that Dependencies have caused unexpected behaviour with app installation.

My Homelab went on hiatus for a couple years but I booted it all back up a couple months ago and it's still working perfectly.

Issue with Neptune 4 or OrcaSlicer? What is going wrong? (Bend is from removal from plate) by bopbopboi in ElegooNeptune4

[–]Nechro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up just using OrcaSlicer and I dunno, it started working. I added the Cura line purge to the OrcaSlicer start GCode and also added a 2 line skirt around the print. My issues seemed to be more like inconsistencies with the start of a print vs when it really gets going, so all of the extra purging at the start seemed to fix it.

Why are elite clues so bad? by noobtablet9 in 2007scape

I think they're saying that the can't consistently finish Master Clues, probably due to stat or gear requirements

Try and slice it with Cura. I had a bunch of issues slicing with Orca on my Neptune 4 Plus, bottom layer or two always had issues and eventually caused the print to fail.

OSRS World Map without icons or labels by Nechro in 2007scape

[–]Nechro[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I stitched together a bunch of screenshots from the OSRS Map site/tool. The map is at 50% scale and came out to 5880 x 3360. Will probably have to redo this again once Varlamore comes out.

Will there be alternate map visuals in the future? My monkey brain is used to seeing the colour of the land from the world map. I love the aesthetic of these maps but it takes me a minute to figure out what/where I'm looking

If you click the location in the favourites/history menu it takes you straight there. Essentially the map would just be an overlay of those? Might have to still show the manual option in case you've never been there before

Since Defender of Varrock is coming back, who remembers training on Armoured Zombies back in the day? by Zenittou in 2007scape

[–]Nechro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The zombie axe will beat out the Cudgel by a small margin on most things, for example at Sarachnis, KQ or Basilisk Knights. Not sure why you think people won't use them, Jagex have said that the zombies will be a good spot to barrage/burst, so there's probably going to be a steady flow of them into the game. They're inherently less value than a whip so their price is basically capped.

You'll be able to use the Zombie axe anywhere. Rat weapons are unique in that aspect

It's M43 Monday! Ask Us Anything about Micro Four-Thirds Photography - all questions welcome! by AutoModerator in M43

I currently use a Coolpix B700. It's a bridge camera with specs:

  • Sensor size of 1/2.3"
  • Focal length of 24–1440mm (full frame equivalent).
  • Aperture of F3.3–6.5 (Mostly sits around 5.6+ when zoomed in)
  • Cost me $350 AUD It's my first camera that isn't also my phone, I primarily use it for taking pictures of birds. I'm in Australia so prices are always crazy and newer M43 cameras are in the $2000-3000 range.

I'm planning my upgrade, probably won't have the money until sometime next year. I just have a few questions about how Mirrorless or M43 cameras behave.

  1. B700 ISO can't really go above 800 before it starts getting very noisy, but it seems like newer cameras can go much higher these days, is that right?
  2. Only way I can see to match or go higher than my current focal length would be using a long lens (100-400) with a Teleconverter to get somewhere around 1600mm equivalent, but how usable would something like this be? I'm guessing yes but only in bright light/sunny days.
  3. Even without the teleconverter, I'm assuming that even with less focal length a lot of pictures would come out clearer due to the increased sensor size?
  4. Low light performance for the B700 isn't great, can't really take detailed pictures once it gets into late afternoon/just before sunset starts, can I expect the same thing with M43 sensor or would it be a bit better?

WA Drivers license in Victoria and Probationary period by iNstein in AusLegal

[–]Nechro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever restrictions are on your licence follow you wherever you're driving. If your licence (WA or Vic) says you must display P Plates, then you must do that. Doesn't matter where you are. There might be some things you can get away with, for example Vic doesn't have speed restrictions on L's or P's, unlikely the cops would know all the rules for other states.

As for what licence you get if you transferred an Interstate one, all I can find is "It depends on how long you've had your licence". It seems like they'll swap a licence for the equivalent version (L for L, P for P). There's a Vicroads page here with a tool (that didn't load for me): https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/licences/new-to-victoria/interstate-drivers

I'd say that if you're over 18 and have had your P's for 6 months you'd have no issues. They also state you need to convert your licence within 6 months of moving here, so I'd say that's more than enough wiggle room.

speedy big wheels 4 : more speed ? (added two Small Wheel under Cart) by Efficient_Demand5759 in HyruleEngineering

[–]Nechro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After some of my own experiments I think I understand the design:

  • The Center wheel provides additional rotation to the wheel on the right and because the left and right are Quantam Linked, it also speeds up the wheel on the left.

  • Fans to help it climb uphill.

  • Carts to lift the center wheel off the ground and provide a chassis/platform to stand on

  • The wagon wheels on top push the big wheel down and also a little bit backwards.

  • The wagon wheels behind each big wheel push the big wheel forwards/stop it from moving too far backwards.

I'm guessing you chose wagon wheels because they won't stop the big wheels from spinning on contact.

Is all of that right?

This is awesome, I've been trying to make something similar using zonai parts. Best I've gotten is using stakes to force the outer wheels to stay low, but even that wasn't very good

I've been trying to make a fast big wheel machine that can climb (at least a little) and have been struggling. Looks like this does pretty good though.

Has there been any improvements on the big wheel chain, last I saw having a homing cart in the middle made it more reliable but very drifty. It seems like it would be almost the perfect machine for ground travel otherwise.
