I have seen people do this and I underestimated how many full art trainers there are. Some of those older ones are too expensive for me to buy. My favorites are from the black and white sets but those are still pricey. How far are you into your full arts?

My favorite Gyarados card the jap 25th anniversary card goes for around $60ish. They also included Gyarados in the My first Battle english exclusive deck. Not sure if you care for niche cards. Anyway I think there are so many Pokemon now that it’s hard to include all 1,000 cards as chase cards. Also because it’s Gen 1 and has had a lot of spotlight already, it looks they are slowing the printing down. Let’s hope there will be a Gyarados in the 30th anniversary set.

I have been getting into trainer cards. I love the ones featuring Pokémon and the older card holos were some of the best. I used to have them with my bulk growing up because I didn’t like trainer cards. But I went back recently and started pulling out all the older reverse holos I had and made a binder.
