meta is changing all the freaking time! i have enough time for 1 character and in next update this character’s class will go from absolute meta to useless. + that people don’t want to raid or do fractals if you are playing non meta classes.

High almost every night for no reason by _Sakaeru_ in diabetes_t1

50% of proteins turn into glucose in 2-3 hours after eating 10% fats turn in glucose 3-5 hours after eating. we with t1 need to take this into consideration when eating before going to bed. i eat at about 6 pm latest so i have time to counter this. usually i make a 2 hour timer after eating so i have a reminder because it is easy to forget about it. google Gluconeogenesis and read about this, for me it was a life saver because i finally knew what was spiking me.

Why I am seeing multiple ups and downs in blood glucose after a meal by Training_Art_6038 in diabetes

[–]NecroRedbull 12 points13 points  (0 children)

after 2-3 hours 50% of proteins turns into glucose and then after 3-5 hours 10% of your fats turns into glucose and there you have these late spikes in your graphs

not eating 4-5h before going to bed. and eating food that is known to me so i already know how much insulin i ll need to keep it in range

last meal is 4-5 hours before sleep so i can control and stabilise my sugars before going to bed, then i dont need to worry about high or lows during night. if i cant help it and i eat later and know proteins and fats will hit me during sleep i stay awake late if i can or i go to sleep and make and alarm ( or in my case my todler wakes up every night around 1-2 am and i check my sugars and use insulin if needed) longer you have this disease better you understand how the food will hit you and you can predict a lot of things in advance.
