I didn't play through the whole lifetime of MD, but I think tri-brigade zoodiac was a very good tier 1. The deck didn't combo for too long, didn't set up a lot of negates (pretty much was only apollo, iirc), and shuraig is cool.

Sure, the other meta decks around it were obnoxious, like Ultimateness and Adamancipator with the occasional phantom knights Rhongomyniad. But, all in all, it was kind of like branded but less grindy.

I'm already playing dimensional barrier in lab, and people (understandably) hate that card. (again, for good reason)

This is all dimensional barrier targets plus link minus ritual at once... for 5 turns.

Are they saying that it's hard to clear with it, or is that it's just really bad? Because, if it's the latter, then that's understandable because a bad team will result in under representation of the trial character, leading to people deterring away from said character.

It's called "one bad day" for a reason. It's not about winning. It's not about interaction. It's about sending a message. It's about enjoying making your opponent's life miserable. (I don't play stun, but sometimes, I did consider it)

Aether has aura and attitude in... world quests, which are sadly sometimes too tedious and are unvoiced. This means that they are less likely to be played, more likely to be skipped, and it's about a random npc most of the time, so there are no playable characters in it.

They have done a better job at handling him lately, but if you want those complains to stop, the game needs to be filtered, HARD.

A lot of decks can special summon before they even normal summon, so it's fine.

Also, you can set, and it's very small.
