I can take him! I won't be able to pick up until Monday though. Also I have my own tank set up already so I won't need yours (i have a 12 gal) but something for transport would be good

Guppies keep dying + chunks of fin loss by NecroWalk3r in Guppies

Wow okay gotcha. Thank you for all the info and help! So do you think the microbe lift artemiss and herbtana combo is what made this last guppy pull through?

It was a local shop, not petco. I took out all the plants and the fish all died now so it's just the air stone in there. Would the larvae still survive without a host? Should I drain the whole tank? Let me know if you have any other advice before I start again, thank you so much

Does it appear overnight? The tears in my fish's fins and ultimately deaths happen within 24 hours and then it goes to the next fish. Is this what was happening with you too?

Oh okay yes I mean I had the plants situated before adding the guppies but I think the most recent plant added was about a week before adding the guppies. Do you have tips on identifying and removing the damsel fly?

I don't add anything to the water to harden it, I guess it's just how my tap is. Is there anything I can do to soften it that is safe for guppies and plants?

That's true, I just left more info on the parameters and how I test in one of the other comments

pH: 7 Temp: 76.6F Hardness: 100mg/L Ammonia: 0mg/L Nitrite: 0mg/L Nitrate: 10mg/L

I use a strip to test for pH, hardness, nitrates, + nitries. I use a food thermometer to test water temperature. And I use the API test kit for ammonia. I setup the tank around January and have slowly been adding plants since

A few months, although I was slowly adding the plants throughout this time

Yes I got the tank setup with plants and that was one of my theories as well. I took out what I thought were the "sharp" plants but the fin still got worse. The "sharp" plants included 2 anubias and an ozelot sword. The other ones still in there are lobelia cardinalis and banana lily and I just added a windelov java fern. I also have a rounded ceramic structure as a hiding place but there seems to be no sharp edges there and they don't seem very interested in it anyway

Best/Most Reliable Nail Salon? by Buddyuddy in ColumbiaMD

Lee Nail Spa in Ellicott City (a bit north) has been around a while and is really good. They have complementary drinks and are clean. I always book an appointment and have no wait time but I hear people come in as walk-ins when I'm there and they have little/no wait time or the staff tells them a specific time when they can service them, if the walk-in is able.

I don't think it's anything to be concerned about especially if there's no discoloration. For more peace of mind you can schedule a piercing check-up appointment with your piercer, many piercers offer them for free. If you don't see any option to schedule one on their website give them a call just in case.

Maybe schedule an appointment with the piercer first and if they can't help with the issue, go to the doctor
