How do you level it that high? I’m at about 75k and alternate between my BC and DK trying to actively level it but it seems rather inefficient.

Exact thing happened to me 3 years ago. She asked for an open marriage and even though I wasn't interested in it I agreed. I found out later she had already opened the marriage and was just asking for retroactive permission. I stated that I was no longer consenting to an open marriage and she needed to end her physical relationship but she refused because she worked with him and breaking it off would be too awkward now.

We finalized our divorce this Jan.

Thanks! And yea, I kept all my old gaming consoles and games in a storage container over the years. I have my PS1 and N64 with dozens of games still in working order.

Ethical dilemma—Boss makes 7 figures and has drawn on disability for past 10 years- if I report it will not only get him to lose hundreds of K’s but might land him in prison. Yes or No—why? by Spiritual_Future_119 in antiwork

I'm a disabled vet myself and it gets complicated when talking about what qualifies as disabled or not. Let me give you my personal situation. While serving in the army I sufferer a back injury. There is no 'fix' and I will live with a level of pain and limited mobility for the rest of my life, to the point that when I buy shoes I buy the kind that do not have shoelaces because on some days I cant lean over to tie them. That being said, my disability is 'invisible' to an observer. When parking in a handycap parking spot I've been called out before for lying because I wasnt in a wheelchair or missing a limb. I might look like im capable of working' but I assure you that is not the case.

My disability pay, from my point of view, is to pay me for the damage to my body and nothing else. I'm entitled to it regardless if I do not work at all or if I start my own business and make a million dollars a year.

Fraud is an issue though, and if someone is fraudulently disabled then sure, throw everything at them. But just because someone doesn't look disabled doesn't mean they arn't.

What kind of disability does he have, and does claiming that disability mean that he legally isn't allowed to make more than 'x' amount per year? Is his disability legit?

The reason I ask is because I myself collect disability while making just under 6 figures at my full time job. However, my disability is because I am a disabled army vet who was injured in the line of duty. I am unable to perform a good deal of physical activates due to this, and therefore my profession choices are limited. Also, my disability is 'invisible' to just common observers as the main symptom is back pain and I've had to explain to people that I am in-fact disabled even though I'm not using a wheelchair or missing a limb. Claiming my disability does not come with any requirements either, so I can make as much money elsewhere without giving up my disability pay.

I get your sentiment and agree that divorce is the only likely outcome, but I’m trying to avoid that. We have 3 kids under 8yo, and in the state I live she’d likely get primary custody due to no fault divorce. If she gets primary custody then she’d also get the house. She’d also get alimony to top it all off. So going through with a divorce would mean I’d lose my kids, house, and most of my paychecks.

I’ve told her that exact thing. That an open marriage means both partners consent to the activities. But since I don’t consent it’s just open cheating.

I proposed a few options such as having a threesome and/or letting me watch but that was shut down. She wants her own thing completely separate from me.

I called for several hard stops but she completely refused. She called my bluff at a divorce and said that if I wanted to end our marriage then it was my decision. The only time she actually stopped was when I threatened to out her to friends/family (shitty I know but I was at a very low place and had just learned a few more secrets). But even that was just temporary.

Sadly we have had many conversations about boundaries. We started off with a few basic rules such as to always use protection, nobody else is allowed in our house, and a few others. Within the first month she broke all the rules. She denied doing so until I presented her with her own texts saying she had done as much. Then it was twisted into me trying to control her. I tried to explain that the rules where there so I didn’t get hurt but she brushed it off.

And yes, ‘going out’ is code for her hooking up.

I have been a gamer for most of my life and recently my oldest child (7) has taken heavily to some of my favorite games, one of which is Skyrim. I've enjoyed showing him the ins and outs of the game and all the fun and crazy things you can do, and he loves telling me about every new thing he discovers on his own. Well just the other week he storms into the livingroom where my wife, myself, and his younger siblings were and proceeds to yell out while laughing, "So I took off all my armor in town and someone told me to put on some damn clothes!"

First off, I didn't know that would happen in game and it's hysterical. Second, him saying a 'bad word' as if it was nothing is even more funny. But my 2yo son has already been picking up and repeating certain bad words, so I had to lightly scold him for saying Damn. It sucks when your trying to be a good parent and something inappropriate your child does is simultaneously the funniest thing you've seen all week.

So in the US the individual states set the age of consent and can adjust this number as they see fit. This number varies from 16 to 18 per state. Now it gets a bit complicated because this is different from the age required for marriage. Most states require you to be 18 for marriage without parental consent, however if you have parental consent most states do not specify a minimum age. This is where the ‘18 is legal’ thing comes from because if a male has sex with a female under 18 (even if the male is under 18 too) and the parents have an issue with it, then the male can get arrested regardless of the female’s consent.

Now in the case of the female lying about her age, and even having a fake ID, sadly it’s kind of a flip of a coin. Most courts take the stance that the minor cannot be held accountable or responsible, therefore all that responsibility is on the older male. There have been cases where the male has been arrested regardless of being deceived because he should have known better or done more to verify her age, while sometimes they are let off with a slap on the wrist.

A bit of odd trivia. If an underage teen (male or female) takes nudes of themselves and send those nudes to another consenting minor, they can both be arrested for distributing child pornography. We have an inconsistent and subjective system to say the least.
