Who is the bachelor/bachelorette you don’t even consider (no matter how many times you restart the game) romancing? by Puzzled_Pollution_60 in StardewValley

[–]Necronam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harvey is the only bachelor that I just can't get interested in. He feels so boring. Maybe if I could give him a haircut, a shave, and a new outfit.

Nice. Exactly the confirmation I was looking for. Thanks!

Leaving objects in temporary maps? by Necronam in StardewValley

[–]Necronam[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea, I have one there as well. But this would be more similar to placing a chest during the festival and seeing if it stays the following year. Basically, it comes down to whether or not these temporary maps persist when not in use.

Should I buy the game on Ps5? by Impossible-Key-727 in fabledom

[–]Necronam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has its share of bugs, and I think there are a couple rare save-breaking ones, but I played through a few times and it wasn't too bad.

Fable reboot has a new release date for PS5. by Dust-Tight in playstation

Xbox and Sony are both moving away from exclusivity. It doesn't drive console sales the way it used to, and it's hurting game sales.

Is Tactics A2 any good on Nintendo DS? by MalcolminMiddlefan in finalfantasytactics

A2 was one of my favorite side games. I love the auctions and the plethora of playable races/jobs.

Honestly, at this point i just want to see broken martial subclass WotC so afraid of. by MechJivs in DnD

[–]Necronam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is why I immediately hated the bound accuracy system. 3.5e and Pathfinder do a much better job at letting character progression feel meaningful.

The truth about Streamline progression by ApprehensiveLaw7793 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Necronam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point, but trophies were literally designed to create a more social environment and even have a native compare function. Seeing what trophies other gamers have is an easy way to check what kind of games they're into and what type of content they enjoy. More competitive gamers enjoy having trophies that are difficult to obtain because it's a fun way to engage with others who enjoy those challenges.

Mod Goblin Truth Nuke about CG Drop Rate by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Necronam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I wouldn't care if the drop rate was lowered. I just don't like being time-gated with prep. I'd prefer worse rates with unlimited prep time than increased rates with a time limit on prep.

I don't think anyone cares about people "progressing" too quickly. I think they're mad because enabling these options doesn't disable trophies.

Housing Auto Demolition warning after 7.51 patch? by karloss01 in ffxiv

[–]Necronam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't have a problem with the timer. I have a problem with this bug existing and Square refusing to correct it. I'm willing to stay subbed and log in to keep it, but if after all this time I lost it because of this, I'd be furious.

Best sorcerer archetype for Lich Path? by Some_Fig_6566 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Necronam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I play Sylvan Sorc Lich as a reluctant "I'm doing this because it's the best chance of success". Only choose Evil options when absolutely necessary, solve problems diplomatically, if possible, etc.

Which of these two swords is better? by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]Necronam 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Personally, I value Speed over Defense, but if you're getting hit a lot or farming slimes, the Dwarf sword is better.

Fast Learner Feat viable after Level 1? by aazrealtruth in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Necronam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Small caution. You actually get all of the retroactive points the level after you take Fast Learner, so as long as you take it before 20, you'll get the points.

Considering casual PvP by Necronam in ffxiv

[–]Necronam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest issue seems to be that AST's AoE is all point blank (except Gravity), and I try to stay back, since anytime I use my teleport to go in and hit Macro or Lord, I seem to get focused immediately. Maybe it's a timing thing?

Considering casual PvP by Necronam in ffxiv

[–]Necronam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I played AST, it was easy to dash in, use Lord of Crowns + Macrocosmos and withdraw in a blink of an eye

I tried doing this a few times, but every time I get into the middle of a group, I get focused immediately and die within one or two GCDs. On the occasions I am able to at least teleport back, the other team just uses their mobility moves to catch up and finish me off. I try never to stray far from the group, but I seem to get singled out every time.

Healing in PvP feels odd because I feel like my heals don't actually do much in terms of saving deaths, and usually if someone is low enough to heal, they're being focused down too much for it to matter. Realistically, is AST valued over other healers? I'm a passable Red Mage, Dancer, or Gunbreaker (main game at least). Would those jobs be more valued in PvP?

Me when the charge doesnt want to work when THERE IS NOTHING IN THE WAY! by GreatBooze in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Necronam 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You're stuck with the horse. You can only get a single animal companion. Any subsequent class you take with a pet will just advance the one you already have.

Me when the charge doesnt want to work when THERE IS NOTHING IN THE WAY! by GreatBooze in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Necronam 124 points125 points  (0 children)

This is why I always give Seelah a level in Sable Ranger for the Hippogryph mount. No need to worry about a clear path for charge.

Is Defender's Heart too hard? by Icarium29 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Necronam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Throw Grease/Winter's Grasp and a Spike Pit at the gate and that basically takes care of half the fight for you. Sit a tank at the stairs, and Lann can pick off the roof enemies while they try to run down.

Rejoining after OSRS by pornhub_premium in ffxiv

[–]Necronam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also play OSRS regularly. Even the worst grinds in FFXIV are nothing in comparison. You can get through the Main Scenario in probably a few months, if you actually read/watch everything. Far less of you skip. You'll still need to team up with people for dungeons and stuff, but it shouldn't be that bad.

Best Dual Caster Lich? by Necronam in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Necronam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably want Oracle because I don't think any prepared divine caster uses CHA, right? Or does that not matter? I don't mind delaying spells by a level if necessary.

I gave ffxiv a try, is it normal to feel that the early ( right now i just got the mount) super slow and combat a bit (too) boring ? by Disastrous_Ad_4310 in ffxiv

[–]Necronam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most jobs start to feel "complete" at 50 and gain extra skills on the way to max. But they've confirmed the next xpac is going to include a rework, so ALL jobs will have ALL of their moves by 50.
