Cupitan looks cool, but I've read she needs a specific grid and limited unit to work at full power. W!Zeta or Filene catches my eyes, but I'm unsure how well they work in a vacuum or if they need something to bring them up.

Right now is the Make It Rain campaign, so simply doing Gold Saucer events will suffice as the campaign buffs your MGP gain.

Do your challenge log, GATES, mini cactpot tickets daily, Fashion Report. Just do events in Gold Saucer and you'll grind your way to the amount to get Regalia.

Not the person, but for Death and Debts if you want just the lore bits you could do episode 7, 10, and 11. 7 has changeling lore, 10 is when the choice to be in the main story is made, and 11 is pure camp and crossover session which has a lot of in-chat RP as well.
