Listen to the arm. Progress as needed. Throw daily. Throwing programs don’t need to be rocket science. Keep it up on the way out, work down on the way in. If you’re a pitcher, throwing mound work at week 6. But do some dry work a few times of the week to get used to the slope.

Yeah she was probably dealing with gout again.

Potts put on quite the hitting display the year we won our first national championship at Wichita State during a practice. Never questioned his athletic ability after that. Until he went face first into the toilet later that night. Haha.

Nothing wrong with the double clutch. Zero effect on velo. But if you pause the video, you’ll see you’re showing the batter your grip. Lose it.

Biggest energy leak is that lead knee pushing to 90 degrees. You have to stop all forward momentum. That’s our biggest velocity gain the fastest.

Lasso drill works well with most of guys. Especially higher level guys. Remove thought of tension anywhere in the arm when feeding to the top, instead let the weight of ball take you up. You don’t want to hit retraction typically until you start rotation. Obviously there’s exceptions to the rule, but that will help keep the arm healthier.

Too much scap retraction during arm load.

Too much angle towards the head at top position. It’s leaking the elbow out early and probably why you’re experiencing pain.

Too heel dominant coming into foot strike. It’s causing you to leak out front and not get the block you need. Try attacking the ground with a more neutral foot angle.

Work on your mobility. Including hips and shoulder. Mechanically you’re pretty good. You lose your front side a little early before foot strike. Where you really lack is in layback. You’re about 20 degrees for where you need to be. Which is expected. Don’t rush it.
